Hey John, here’s my input for you. I’ve had a reduction in penile sensitivity for a couple of years now. It happened gradually after an extended use of the penis pump. But possible also because of an addition to masturbation and heavy use of porn, which might have desensitised my normal brain-to-penis sensitivity/nerve function. After numerous visits to different doctors and urologists it was suggested it might be psychological. At first I rejected this notion. But in hindsight I realize I did increase my porn use to, basically, get horny, and be able to feel heightened sensation. This behaviour developed more so as my sensitivity decreased - possibly producing a downward spiral …which also lead to more deepened depression.
I found this fantastic website which actually suggested that the problem isn’t actually in my penis …but in my brain.
Your Brain On Porn -
Please check it out. I agree with Willy Wonka, leave this place alone and forget about trying to ‘enhance’ your penis. The potential loss just ain’t worth it in the end.
Let me know what you think about the ideas presented.
…I went through a very deep depression, for a long time, and my final realisation is to accept that I have to go through an extended period of abstinence from all sexual activity, and porn use (possibly permanently). To allow my brain to ‘re-boot’ …and hopefully my normal penis sensitivity to return, or improve.
It’s possible that won’t happen, but I believe if you can accept your loss may be permanent, your mentality will improve, and then give yourself the time-out you need (maybe months are needed), your brain/penis connection might reboot. And stop abusing your penis using PE.
Do all this, eat well, sleep well, and focus on other aspects (positively) in your life
…you might also be able to ‘re-calibrate’ to your lower sensitivity.
Hope this helps you.
I’m on this journey, and feel more positive now about the future.
Who knows, maybe a porn/masturbation/orgasm detox (or brain re-boot) is all you need.
