purple bruise below the glands

what do I do? I think I was jelqing too hard or something and now have like a purple bruise that feels like a vein that popped or was injured perhaps.

Should I use ice or heat or just let it be?

Did a quick search on google and found this general consensus:

Bruising occurs when blood vessels under the skin rupture as a result of a blow or bump. Blood spills into the underlying tissue resulting in pain and swelling, as well as the familiar black and blue marks.

To help ease the pain of a new bruise, experts recommend applying an ice pack on and off for the first 24 hours. A bag of frozen peas is ideal, or frozen witch hazel if you have it. The next day apply a hot water bottle (not too hot) or warm compress. This will help to encourage reabsorption of the blood and bring faster relief.

Thanks, I was reading at previous post and think its Thrombosis. I’ll try not to give the matter much credence.

It’s not thrombosis. I had a little thrombosis recently which came with a small bump and a hard empty vein without any discolorization.

Most likely a vein popped, the bruise will go away in 1-2 days. Applying a warm compress couple of times a day will probably speed up things.

Next time do a warmup or be a bit more gentle when jelqing.

I recommend a 3-4 day layoff till it heals.

I know..I get so worked up when I see results I cant help it.

I suggest some rest too until your penis recovers. Then take it easy and don’t over do your PE routines.
