rupture in corpus spongiosum?

While jelqing four days ago I applied excessive pressure about an inch from the glans and felt something give (an explosion) on the underside of my penis. Since then I’ve experienced constant pain, especially in the morning during and after an erection. There is little sign of swelling or bruising. Not sure how to treat this (heat? ice?) - I’ve not found a similar complaint in the forums - I’m concerned about the creation of scar tissue so I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I’d go to the Dr. sounds like something you might want to get checked out just to be safe. Don’t want to hurt yourself for life.

I would have a doctor check you out for your peace of mind.

The medical term urologists use is Penis Fracture. In real life this occurs when folks are having intercourse, they slip out, and their tool gets bent over and cracked by their thrusting partner. The recommended treatment in urology/health sites for MDs is that intervention is done rapidly before any scar tissue develops. Luckily they have tricks up their sleeves that they use to repair rips in tissue and ligaments and the like.

I hope yours wasn’t a geniune “penis fracture” and if it was, I hope you got checked out by your local hospital ER/urologist in time.

The reason I know is that I had a frature-scare a couple of years ago.

Squeezing by hand, with the ability to stop immediately, probably isn’t a strong enough force to cause a penile fracture. This injury, by the way, is a rupture of the corpora cavernosum, not the corpus spongiosum which is where this injury apparently occurred. It might have been a tear or similar “minor” injury. It’s hard to rupture the CS because it’s continuous with the glans and bulb of the penis both of which could absorb any increase in pressure. Unless of course the CS was compressed between to points.

I had exactly the same kind of injury, just lower on the shaft of the penis. After a while it seemed to heal itself, but thromboses seems to have set in on the local vein feeding the ruptured area. To be honest, although it felt directly on the CS, the damage was probably the vein bursting. I thought my CS burst, but the vein would rupture under pressure before the CS. I have had 2 months off and healing is slow and there is still a dull pain. I have seen two urologists who are clueless on the matter. Any further suggestions? Definately, not a penile fracture because I still achieve erections, however, I have lost gains since my injury. 99% of gains lost are girth gains, and length seems to be unphased. My conclusion there is that the ligament cannot swell back down; however, the CC is like a sponge, and without constant traction exercise I will lose gains.
