Thrombosis Mondors Disease hard vein

Thrombosis Mondors Disease hard vein

Hey guys,

First time poster, I’ve been searching this forum for advice about my injury for a while but haven’t signed up before now. I am not sure if I am posting in the right place so apologies if not, but I am desperate for help.

Around 10/11 weeks ago I started to have a pain (felt like a burning sensation) on the left side of my penis. I soon after noticed that I had a very pronounced vein that I have never noticed before appear, which runs from the base of my penis almost up to my penis head. It is a hard cord like vein. It hurts during sex and strangely I also I have a pain when touching my gland on the left hand side.

I have not masturbated or had sex now for 3 weeks.

I’ve seen a urologist who thinks it’s mondors disease but it should have cleared in 6 weeks. He even said it might be a new disease nobody has ever had before .Initially I locally applied an anti inflamorary cream, and now the urologist has given me a steroid cream to use on and off. I am very concerned, to the point where I am constantly thinking about it. I also live with my girlfriend so as you could imagine this is less than ideal.

I guess I was wondering if anybody else has experienced anything similar with my time scales?? Any advice at all will be hugely appreciated!

Thanks

Anyone got any advice?

Sorry man, I’m too new to this to help out but I’m interested as well so hopefully someone can help you out. I know that’s probably nerve racking to go through so I wish you the best for a healthy outcome

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

This is my first reply here since I am completely new to PE. I only started a couple of months ago and literally after 3-4 jelqing sessions I got a thrombosed vein on the base of my dick. Mind you its not as bad as yours since I noticed it really early. It isn’t longer than a centimeter of length so yea its really small. It doesn’t really bother me practically except for sometimes when I have a lot of sex with my gf in one day I feel a slight pressure. So long story short obviously I instantly stopped PEing which was quite disappointing since I had just started it :P and went to my urologist just to be safe. He said it is mondor’s disease 100% and that its really rare for it to happen on the penis. Some times it happens from really rough sex and he had a lot of cases of some judo (I think) martial artists that get it because they wear protective gear around that area which hits against the pubic bone when they fight. He said it will clear off eventually (2 months he said) and that I really shouldn’t worry about it since mine was hardly visible, I actually had to stand up and kegel for the bump to show up. It has been two months now and It hasn’t gone away which is frustrating to be honest but I can see the small bump on the vein has gotten smaller and I no longer feel that slight pressure after cumming. Also my doc said that if the thrombossed vein covers the entirety of the penis and is as long as yours (I assume) that they prescribe anti-coagullant pills for a month but in my case it was completely unnecessary. Its not really a urology matter more of an angiology issue.

My biggest issue is that I didn’t know what I did wrong to cause it so fast. I practically barely even started PEing and this happened. Anyways to get to my point I have read on medical forums that L-Argitine really helps to clear thrombosed veins from blood clots so I am probably gonna try getting a small dosage of it daily. Alot of people here use it as a supplement since it seems to help. If that doesnt get the job done either I will probably pay my doc a visit again and see what I can do.

Also I am not a doctor but from what you explained here it is most likely Mondor’s and its a completely benign disease. Idk why your doc scared you by saying it might be something new or what not. If you don’t trust him go see an Angiologist since they are more suited for this problem.

Also to add something to the last Post since I lost that edit window :/. I never really stopped having sex cause I just started a new relationship with this beautiful girl and we are having amazing chemistry on the bed and I ain’t losing all this amazing sex for something so insignificant. Plus I don’t think she would like it either. My doctor didn’t say to stop it either he just said that it will prolong the healing and the easy way for the vein to clear itself is to just leaving it alone.

Any Updates?

Hey polydorak and willow15, how are you now? Have you completely healed? Did your injury(Mondor’s disease) recur by any chance after it has healed?? Please reply :)
