This may be true it comes to DHT levels, but not when it comes to haircounts. I know of several people who tried below the 1 mg dose and saw their results begin to taper off. Be careful.

If you dissolve the pills, you can cut them in as many pieces as you like.

I’m taking .33mg now, and things are about the same as when I was taking 1mg.

I’ve taken 1 mg doses of propecia for almost 7 years. After some internet reading and some posts here, I decided to cut back the daily dosage to .5 mg for the last 8 months and haven’t noticed any differences in the efficacy of the propecia so far.

One of the side-effects I personally experienced with first using propecia was a reduction in ejaculation amount. My libido didn’t change, though. Since reducing my dosage to .5 mg, I’ve gotten some of that load back, and I seem hornier than usual (which my wife may or may not appreciate depending on how busy she is that day).

It will grow any fine hairs that may be even almost invisible now. It’s funny the right side of my head has almost totally filled in the widow peak area but on the left side it did shrink but not as well as the right. The longer you wait the less it will work.
