Arginine Long Term Use Question

I did a search for this, but I couldn’t find answers I was looking for.

For those of you who have used arginine, and then perhaps STOPPED or just ran out of pills/powder for a few weeks and were too lazy to buy it again right away, have you noticed WEAKER erections? What I am getting at is, does arginine condition your dick so its only really hard ON the stuff? I am a little worried that if I take it for a few years and then decide to just stop for some reason, it will have harmed by sexual ability in the long run.

Any ideas or experiences relating to this? Thanks.

IMO it doesn’t produce negative effects on the

natural capacity to have an erection…

it’s only a added imput to provocate it more…

becouse it release in the body some substance (NO.)

I heard something about the danger for those who have an herpes

to accentuate it (herpes labialis); I dont know if it’s true.

Anyway any comment is useful…I use it regularly

in little dosage and I am interested too to the argument!

Esc, I been taking L-Arginine 500mg capsule once a day between meals. I have been taking it for a year now. It does help me maintain stronger erections but than I always had and still have strong and rock hard erections and I’m 64. I had to stop L-Arginine these pass six weeks due to Bi Lateral Hernia repair. I hope that answers your questions.

L-Arginine is a naturally occurring amino acid you get in the foods you eat. Taking supplements just ups your daily intake, so stopping L-arginine would have a similar effect of stopping vitamin pills. If you eat healthy, you won’t even notice.

I have gone off it a couple of times and yes, I think I noticed weaker erections for awhile.

If I’m taking NOX2, should I take L-Arginine at the same time?

You shouldn’t need to take anymore if you already have NOX2. It just depends on the amount you would like to get in your diet for the day.

Arginine shouldn’t be taken more then 60 days in a row. You should cycle it.

I read somewhere but I can’t remember where or if it is true, that eventually long term use can lead to a permanent increase of nitrous oxide. I think it was referring to the increase of nitrous oxide you get when you take pomegranate extract, but I was also wandering if the case is the same for arginine.

Arginine is a naturally occurring amino acid that you get from eating food. I can see no need to cycle it. Nitrous oxide is what you need to get an erection, so you want that.

Too much arginine can trigger herpes outbreaks, so if you have herpes, you should be careful.

6 grams of arginine a day is way more than our body produces and uses in natural conditions. At least 6 grams do their job for me, don’t know about you guys. I’ve just got this product yesterday: and they claim (as you can read on the page) that is “Not recommended for continuous, high-level use for more than 60 days”, they probably have their reason to state that about one of THEIR product. AAKG seams more powerful than the regular argninine, I’ve got a crazy workout today and my veins were more pronounced then ever. I stack it with Universal Animal Pump and I thing they work great. AAKG feels better than nox3, at first sight. I woke up with a morning wood, and I don’t know if it’s AAKG’s fault, but is good news anyway.

I returned to Alpha Arginine ketoglutarate a few weeks ago. Mainly for blood pressure control. I take 4-5 grams per day. Yeah it really makes for good woodies. I also take ginkgo for that as well.

This brings me to this theory. Ginkgo seems to be better for girth. And Arginine better for length. Green Tea for longevity. Ginseng for increase hardness level. The four combined is lethal for ED.

I`ve noticed that arginine increased my EQ substantially. Recently I bought powder that I put into capsules and then ran out of capsules and the last few days noticed some reduction in EQ.

But of course there are always other factors to consider. Outdoor soccer just begain this weekend and 90 minutes of running will do a number on your sex life. Then there was the napoleon brandy I got as a wedding present that I over-indulged in on saturday….and I haven`t had a hangover in years.

I picked up some capsules today and so I am keen to take some before bed.

I am not true believer that l-arginine will boost EQ on it’s own. Try to add some cayenne pepper for better blood circulation and ginger for better absorption then you will see
