Aspirin for erections?

Aspirin for erections?

Hi guys, I have a couple of varicose veins (that I know of) and am planning to start taking an aspirin a day for treating them and was wondering, as aspirin has an effect on the blood will it increase my erection quality?

Thanks

In my experience it wont hurt it anyway.

In my experience it helps slightly. It thins the blood and improves circulation.

I guess it may increase the chance of red dots or bruising so maybe go a bit easy at first.

How old are you and do you have other health problems? You don’t want to compound your help problems unecessarily. I have had varicose veins and that is no way of treating them at all

I’ve read studies about repeated use of NSAIDs causing impotence with repeated use. Something about blocking pde5 or another hormone, can’t remember which.

There was A study in 2005 which reported that NSAID use increased the potential for ED by 1.4 times. However, it was also recommended that if you are using NSAIDs you should continue to do so, but report it to your doctor if you have symptoms of ED. It was only one study and who knows how many of the subjects of the study were taking NSAIDs because they already had ED.

It is interesting to note that there are over 30 billion doses of NSAIDs sold every year. I do not believe there are anywhere near as many reported cases of ED.

My endocrinologist, who is also treating me for ED, has recommended I take daily aspirin to improve my cardiovascular health.

Because of the blood thining capability of aspirin, Capernicus makes a good point regarding red spots and bruising and sricardo makes a good point regarding varicose veins. May be time to see a doctor.

There is some evidence that aspirin may be anti-aromatase. Safer, cheaper and with fewer side-effects than armidex: Aspirin, brain, and cancer

Great link. Tough to get through the medicaleze though.
