PE and aspirin side effects

I am doing PE for almost 3 years now, and my doctor prescribed 100 mg daily of aspirin since 2004.

As I have read in some forums, and also here in Thunder, that aspirin is bad for PE, I would like to know how exactly is the situation is.

I don’t think aspirin taken at that dosage level should have an impact on your PE. Unless you are experiencing serious discoloration or bruising, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Well I’ve been pe’ing long enough to be able to tell when my dick has had enough and is about to get a thrombosed vein…

So I start taking aspirin BEFORE that happens while I rest a few days;) .

Low dosages of aspirin aid in circulation. I believe that is why it is prescribed for high blood pressure and bad hearts. I’m no doctor , but to me circulation is good!

This is what I was also thinking. Circulation is good and I know that aspirin is increasing blood circulation. I havent tried it.

Aspirin stops platelets from sticking together. It does not “improve circulation” or “thin your blood.”

It’s a colloquialism, fourofakind. A blood clot is the ultimate in thick blood. Things like aspirin and coumadin and such are sometimes informally referred to as “blood thinners”. If aspirin helps keep your blood from clotting, I don’t think it would entirely inaccurate to say that your blood is ‘thinner’ in a sense, even if technically its viscosity is unaltered.

Before we start with the argument:

I do know that heavier doses of aspirin have caused me to bruise and suffer slight injuries in my PE.

Admittedly this was while taking more than the recommended dosage for a number of days. (This works well for my back pain by the way, and has actually totally and permanently removed the pain from torn-up knee, and was a hell of a lot easier than the surgery that was recommended for the knee.)

I think aspirin is good

All of the sudden I’m bruising very easily in the glans ,breaking blood vessels and getting blood blisters from hanging.I have been taking 1/2 of aspirin,high doses of fish oil and Ginkgo daily.I’m thinking all those blood thinners together is causing the problems.

I also increased weight to 20 pounds.I dropped down to 10 pounds after healing a week but encountered another blister.The blisters heal in about a week and are not painful.I have a circle of bruising on the tip of the glans about size of a dime.Just curious if anyone else has had the same experience from blood thinners.

Be aware that regular aspirin ingestion can raise the risk of strokes and internal bleeding..

My doctor recommended 1 baby aspirin a day.There are diffidently risk associated with aspirin..

Can someone post why aspirin is bad for pe? I figured an anti-coag would be nothing but beneficial. I’m sick Right now and am taking exceddrin, and my eq is better than it has been in months.
