Ok, penismith, now you are making ME nervous!
The castor oil has the properties of stimulating lymphatic drainage.
ALA is supposed to scavenge hemosiderin.
Are you planning to use them together?
The castor oil works quite well without dmso. Just rub in as much will be absorbed, under a IR light is a great way to apply it. I decided to try the castor oil followed by application of dmso. It seemed to accelerate the absorption and removal of residual swelling and redness.
ALA and vit c are mentioned as a chelating agent to remove hemosiderin, and I don’t know any more about it than that thread I posted.
I actually did the castor oil thing again today, this time followed my about 6 drops of dmso. Not as dramatic effect as the 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of dmso I used before, but definitely helped with the absorption.
I would recommend that you watch your pressures very carefully, just in case we are right about it dissolving the scar tissue around old blood vessel injuries.
Keep us posted on your results.
Shiver,
You and some of the other guys seem to be pretty sharp on chemistry. Do you have anything to add on this ALA, vit C mix?
regards,
Sparkyx
