Thank you to everyone who has made this such a great forum – I only just found it last week and it’s been incredibly informative!

I’m hoping those more experienced than me can help decipher the different way that Pygeum ingredients and strength are displayed on bottles.

I’ll be using iHerb to supply the supplements. Piping Rock is not an option because they do not appear to ship this type of product to my country (Australia).

The Swansons brand has an option for a 100 capsule and a 120 capsule bottle of Pygeum extract, but the way the ingredients are listed differs.

For the 100 capsule bottle, serving size 2 capsules, A$12.38:
Pygeum africanum 4:1 Extract (Bark) (equivalent to 1 g), amount per serving 250mg.
[this math makes sense. 4 x 250mg = 1g, which matches a 4:1 ratio]

For the 120 capsule bottle, serving size 1 capsule, A$19.20:
Pygeum africanum (bark), amount per serving 400mg
Pygeum africanum Extract (bark) (25% phytosterols), amount per serving 26mg

I’ve seen posters refer to various dosages of Pygeum, from 200mg and up, and I believe this normally refers to the “extract” rather than just the “bark”. For simplicity, let’s assume a desired dosage of 500mg.

It seems to me that this would be achieved by 4 capsules (2 serving sizes) of the 100 capsule bottle.

For cost/convenience though I would prefer to buy the 120 capsule bottle – and it has a higher cost per capsule than the 100 capsule bottle and so I assume higher strength.

However, I can’t figure out why the extract amount per serving of 26mg is so much lower in the 120 capsule compared to the 250mg extract amount listed for the 100 capsule bottle, or how the “25% phytosterols” part fits in.

I’m obviously missing something basic. I’d be grateful if someone could let me know how to compare the strength of the capsules in the 100 and 120 capsule bottles, and/or the math to work out how many capsules of the 120 capsule equates to approximately 500mg (bark extract?).

I’ve recently started taking Cayenne for blood pressure, which has helped but unfortunately hasn’t helped any with erections. Maybe I need to increase, only been taking 1/2 teaspoon.


Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Read a few pages, I’ve tried that stack from feedbacks above:
- Lecithin (soy) - 1200mg
- L-Arginine - 500mg
- Citruline malate - 500mg
- Adhwagandha - 600mg

=> Good erection improvement. I never had issues but I definitely felt it harder.

- Bromelain - 500mg
=> Good effect on taste. I had a huge improvement in taste (wife loved it) when I turned vegetarian a few years ago. I’ve come back to meat this year and quickly experienced a worse taste. Bromelain improved quickly the taste, though not as good as when I was vegetarian.

- Recently added pygeum (200mg) + saw palmetto (500mg). Increased to 400mg + 1000mg quickly.
=> Huge effect on load. It’s definitely amazing, and I think that increasing the dose improved the effect. I’m ejaculating easily five large shots, sometimes up to 7-8 shots. Becomes pretty thick if is wait a few days, more than before. What also strikes me is that it seems to be pretty consistent across several ejaculations in the same day (where I usually experienced a large decrease in volume after the first one).

Few thoughts for the future:
- I’ve quickly put everything together but I’ll then try to identify what works best. Like stacking one new supplement each month.
- Drinking lots of water helps a lot. It’s necessary for the stack to work but not sufficient to get consistent huge loads.
- Kegels work great for erection quality but needs to be done consistently. I used to do kegels three times a day, and I felt very strong erections after a few months. I’ve then stopped for a year or so and lost a part of the sensation.
- I need to do some research on side effects, especially on pygeum and saw palmetto. I feel like it may increase body hair growth (I have very few and done some laser, and I’ve seen some unexpected growth recently, so I think that I should investigate the hormonal effect of these molecules).

What do the Citruline malate and Adhwagandha do?

Wow, really interesting thread!!

To be honest though, I didn’t read all *222 pages* of posts (who would?!). But after looking for these ingredients on amazon, i came across a product that contains all of them: popstar. It doesn’t say which concentration for each ingredient though. I gave it a try. After 2-3 days, my loads doubled!!

Not sure if I’ll continue this long term because I don’t want to decrease DHT.

Any one else take this supplement? It’s called NAdZ getnadz. I’ve started taking it about a month. It’s supposed to make your testicles increase in size. I don’t know if I believe that or not I do how ever notice that my drive have increased drastically! I feel a fullness in my balls throughout the day! Precum has increased and my loads have increased on top of my holy grail regiment I’ve been doing already.

Hello there, I have been doing the Supplement game for a while, trying to get some results, initially only taking 1 supplement, then mixing them… After all that, I do question what’s worth it and what’s not, and could use some advise, second opinions:

SPERM:
- L-Arginine - the increase seemed small… I guess I had more precum. Is that where most of the benefits lie? I see it in all sort of "1 pill supplement sets", so it came out like some universal thing
- Pygeum - Yeah, this definitely helped with an increase. I noticed that my sperm had more "sticky chunks". A downside was that it took a really long time to see results, about 2 weeks, and if I stopped, the halt was quite quick
- Lecithin - This seemed like "Pygeum Light". Similar effect, but the sperm count increase was slightly smaller. I also found these troublesome, as they were the biggest pills, and they were always so sticky… I admit, I was taking 2 a day so far, and the packaging says to take 3, so maybe I should increase the daily intake, but so far, it felt … a bit lesser than Pygeum

ERECTION:
- Horny Goat Weed - I gave this a shot, and there was no real increase in sperm count, just made my erections harder, and even then, some other supplements offered better results, plus the supplements had the problems of the capsules breaking, the dust getting everywhere. Maybe I was just unlucky, but this never happened with anything else, while with this it seemed like a rule
- Maca - This used to make me drop precum more frequently, but not as much any more … I think. They made my erections harder, but what I loved the most was that my balls felt more plump and full. A lovely feeling! HOWEVER… I have grown concerned if they don’t impact my sleep schedule, as I’ve began to frequently wake up before 6 am, around 5, unable to fall asleep again, and whenever I stop taking Maca, this changes. I have read about how Maca can influence one’s sleep schedule, but I never directly saw anyone say "make one wake up early". I question if this is just about taking them in the evening , and if I should consider taking me in the middle of the day, together with that third pill of Lecithin that I considered
- Shilajit (AKA Mumio) - I had tried it, and it was a tiny increase in sperm count, but made my erections solid on its own like nothing else, and I liked it

So based on my experiments… taking L-Arginine, Pygeum and Lecithin together didn’t seem to really cause like a huge "combo effect", the increase was minimal, likely within the margin of error.

And the erection, i don’t know if there’s value in combining Shilajit and Maca if the latter might be causing me some issues… I’d like to know if this is some legit thing, or if I’m just making things up, and I should be able to take them with no hesitation?

I’ll be very grateful for all input.

Oh and, should I consider "Celery Seeds" ? Are those worth a try too?
