Week 006 my platoon is going to Narvik in northern Norway for a NATO-exercise.

I’ve suffered from cold fingers for some time, and cold feet, girth gains I’ve had few.

Som I’m looking for something that can help the blood flow, any recommendations? Arginin?

Thanks. I should go to the doctor, but from what I’ve understood they don’t do that much if they, which is not likely, diagnose you with Raynauds.

Not much to do, unfortunately.

At the bottom of this page http://www.oilo fpisces.com/fis … anddisease.html there is some info on Omega3 and Raynauds - but I take decent amounts and haven’t noticed any particular difference.

There is also the theory of rebooting your thermostat - keep fingers and toes warm (in hot water buckets forinstance) and keep body cold (as in outdoors naked on a winter day). The body will "relearn" that the normal situation is that fingers and feet are warm, even if the rest of the body cools / skin cools. I tried that, but didn’t do it very diligently. So I can’t vouch for it working - might have worked better, if I’d been diligent.

Bro being outdoors in your neighborhood in the winter your lucky your toes and fingers don’t fall off:) . You can take some caffeine loaded supplements. I know they make me sweat.

Try hot/cold hydrotherapy. I can vouch for that personally.

Basically. Take a shower or run some part of your body under hot water (as hot as you can stand it) for 30 seconds, then run some part of your body under cold water (as cold as you can stand it, it wont kill you) for 30 seconds. Repeat about 7 times.


Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor right? They make your pulse go up and thus make you sweat, but it constricts the smaller blood vessels. I’m trying to cut that out.

Ginkgo biloba anyone? Or yohimbe?

Oh yeah,

I was indeed taking some Ginkgo Biloba for a while. I think it made me dizzy though I never reported anything so I’ll give it another go and tell you how it turns out.

Random, but by the new year I seem to be working into doing:

  • 1 Ginger shot /day [morning]
  • 1 Apple Cider Vinegar shot /day [morning]
  • 3 Multi-sure multivitamins /day (thinking about cutting this down to 1) [morning + evening]
  • 2 doses ginkgo biloba pills (1 morning/1 afternoon)
  • Fish oil (I keep on hearing great things, still need to look into this).
  • 1 Hot/cold shower 30 sec 5 times (10 minutes) /day [morning].
  • Lots of water
  • Great meals
  • Plenty of exercise

You need to make your body understand that it needs to turn up the heat/bloodflow to your hands. Your Body is in a “passive phase” with your hands,feet,nose etc.

As someone already mentioned,cold showers and cold baths where you “train your body to increase its own metabolism” is the key to avoiding this problem! Or just try to be outside in the cold in the mornings to make your body adapt.

I think this is a decent idea. Ginkgo and ginger are great for circulation.

As for yohimbe, I wouldn’t touch the stuff - heard horror stories about the side effects on the heart.


Time to measure girth soon... previously 4.5", been targeting girth for months!

I forgot to mention, Rosemary, Hawthorne berry and cinnamon are great.

It can be a side effect from high blood pressure… so slap that with a bit of raw organic beetroot juice (use your own beetroots and add some apple to make it taste great).

Also, if you smoke - stop ;)

Hey SevenAndBeyond, I’ve had the same thing forever. Can’t stand the winter, as soon as I feel a cold breeze on my hands they start getting cold and they stay cold for a good while even when I’m indoors. My mom suffers from Raynaud’s syndrome, so I assume I got it through genetics. I’ve read that some research was done on the use of ED drugs (Viagra/Cialis) for improving the blood flow to the extremities. I’m trying to get my hands on some Cialis for recreational use but hopefully it could help with overall circulation of the extremities.

High doses of emigration, I practice this. It helps a lot, especially with the erection.

I was taking about 6000mg or 6 grams of L-arginine daily for a month or so, and within that time I noticed that I was almost always warm to the touch, which I had a a couple girls comment on. I would imagine that Ginkgo Biloba would help as well.

Try taking L-arginine, or other suppliments that lead to higher levels of L-arginine that you can find somewhere in the supplement forum as it slips my mind and I have not the time.
