Propecia problems?

I’ve started shedding a little, myself. But I’ve only just started with the Revivogen. Anyway, the good news is that my libido is recovering, though it seems to come and go. I did wake up with morning wood three days in a row; for months before this I would get morning wood once a month if that!

I think I was just freaking out it still seems ok:)

I ordered some of that stuff from that other guy forgot the name hoping it gets here soon:)

To those guys who want to drop Finasteride, please consider 5% spiro cream and Nizoral 2%.

I believe these are the next two best drugs (topical drugs) to fighting hairloss next to Finasteride. I know of many people who have been able to keep their hair by using 5% spiro cream and Nizoral. Add a little minoxidil in there and maybe a copper peptide treatment and you are golden.

Dino puts spiro cream 5% on his list :)

Well one thing I have noticed is that I’m losing weight since off Propecia now I have been on a diet but I’m not starving myself. I tried dieting many times on Propecia with almost no results. This time I’m just eating really healthy and I cut out a lot of things I love like white bread and bagels and I have switched to whole grains and have cut most junk out of my diet. I also have cut out most fats like salad dressing mayo and butter. I eat a lot of good fat like sardines in olive oil. I use balsamic vinegar on my salads instead of my usual creamy Italian or Greek dressing. I have lost about 9 pounds without that much effort and very quickly I’m convinced being off the Propecia has helped my weight loss.

Same for me, I noticed it was a lot less effort to lose a few pounds since quitting the Propecia. I havent noticed any hair loss at all but the good news is that I am waking up with morning wood again almost daily.

You all are still missing the point... The story was great and all but should have ass (and) some anal in it.- RWG

Be very careful when using Spiro. The drug direct effect or action is that it takes Testosterone and converts it into Estrogen. It doesn’t block testosterone like Propecia it turns it into the female hormone. Males shouldn’t take it in pill form because it causes gyno. But topical creams don’t make it to your blood.

I was going to use the cream but after doing research on it I said no way not for a few more years.

Propecia doesn’t block testosterone it blocks it from converting to DHT so that extra testosterone may be converted to estrogen also. That’s why some guys get bitch tits and stuff like that.

I used my genhair stuff last night and no problems to report except it only comes with a spray I like the dropper better it’s easier. With the spray you get too much on your hair I like to get it on my scalp but I will adjust it’s not that bad.

TOPICAL spiro is VERY safe for use with no risk of systemic effects. There was even a study done where men coated close to 50% of their bodies with a spiro cream and only trace amounts were found in their blood.

Topically, it is very safe. Now orally is just plain crazy if you ask me, although you COULD grow a nice pair of boobies if you wanted to if you kept up with the stuff ;-)

How’s everybody’s progress been since their last posts? I’m starting to believe my weak erections are a result of Propecia as well. I’m 24 and I’ve been using Propecia for a little over 2 years. Prior to starting the drug, if I’m remembering correctly, I had morning wood damn near every morning. Raging wood at that, that stayed with me for a good 10+ minutes after I was up and about. I don’t recall having morning wood like that, or an erection like that, since I started taking the medicine. Matter of fact, I only get morning wood maybe once a month, and even then it’s weak. Also, daytime erections are a thing of the past now too. I used to get rock hard erections throughout the day. Damn it!! LOL!

I think I’ve always thought in the back of my mind that Propecia was the problem, but I’ve always just blamed stress. As of right now, I’m off of the drug until I can see how things improve. Man, just typing this makes me remember how strong my erections were up until I started taking the medicine. I think my erections have gradually got weaker since I started. If it would have dropped suddenly, I would have really payed attention more.

789, how’s everything? Dino too?

Hey Bro:) At 24 you should be popping wood all night. I can say since going off I get night wood all night it seems I’m always packing wood. When I was on I would get morning wood sometimes but never the diamond hard wood that I get all night now. I’m a little more horny and seamen has increased a very noticeable amount. I have also been able to lose weight which I was having major problems doing since I was on it. I also picked up a small gain but I don’t really count anything under .25 so it’s not official.

So far I like the genhair 15% minoxidil with 5% azelaic acid I think it just may work well:)

Cool. I just found out that my cousin who was also using Propecia, quit taking it because of the same side effects. I’m not sure how long it took him to recover, or if he has yet.

Interesting read:

I read all 34 pages…lol. Scary stuff.

For me it wasn’t just weaker and less frequent erections. It was getting so I was rarely interested in getting off. Sometimes I never reached orgasm during sex, and even with death-grip masturbation it got to be very hard to come. Have you experienced anything like that?

I’ve been off Propecia for four weeks now, and I’m pretty much back to normal. In fact, last night I had my first two-orgasm sex romp in nine years! (I was on Propecia for about 15 months.) I was very happy about that… it would have been unthinkable not too long ago. Morning wood is occasional, probably normal frequency for my age (32 years), and a good deal more frequent than when I was taking Propecia. I’m glad I went off it for sure.
