Soy is bad for your penis

I always wonder
Why
Asians get made fun of cuase of small penis
I
Am asian and I have 5 inch only and looking for gains
And when I was young
I was told that soy was healthy for you
So I ate a lot of soy food,
Including whey protein, which has a lot of soy in it

And why most asians have small penis because soy can effect the growth of ur penis when going through your puberty, not sure when doing PE exercises but
MOST of the asian food contains soy
I can’t find ANY asian food without soy.
They have soysauce, they put soysauce in everything
And it seems like black, white, and mexican people have larger dicks then asians

Information from :

Soy and soy products may have an effect on calcium absorption.
- Am J Clin Nutr 1991 Mar;53(3):745-7 — Soybean phytate content: effect on calcium absorption. — Heaney RP, Weaver CM, Fitzsimmons ML.

Soy may also have an effect on zinc absorption.
- Am J Clin Nutr 1984 Nov;40(5):1064-70 — The effect of individual components of soy formula and cows’ milk formula on zinc bioavailability. — Lonnerdal B, Cederblad A, Davidsson L, Sandstrom B.

———And something that has to do with sex hormone———
Soy consumption has been suggested to exert effects in premenopausal women, such as increased menstrual cycle length and sex hormone-binding globulin levels and decreased estrogen levels. One cross-sectional study showed serum estrogens to be inversely associated with soy intake. Seven soy intervention studies controlled for phase of menstrual cycle. These studies provided 32-200 mg/d of isoflavones and generally showed decreased midcycle plasma gonadotropins and trends toward increased menstrual cycle length and decreased blood concentrations of estradiol, progesterone and sex hormone-binding globulin.

Whey protein is derived from milk. It contains no soy.

Soy sauce has virtually no soy in it.

Your penis size is due to genetics.

Soy is bad for guys no doubt. And he may be right I know several 2nd generation Asians that go to school with my kids that are 6 footers and their parents are small so diet may have a lot to do with total body size.

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. Thomas Edison (1847-1931)

I have read many health magazines and alot of them actually do say that soy, has estrogen effects with it’s consumption. There has been many studies on the subject, and some confirm the estrogenic effects, and some say that it is not true.

Soy is in everything and I can’t get away from it totally but I would never add any to my diet on purpose.

Yeah, there’s a lot of posturing on both sides. Phytoestrogens are a mixed bag. Depending on one’s sex and hormone levels, they could be beneficial or harmful. For example, if a guy has too much estrogen, having estrogen receptors occupied by phytoestrogens may be beneficial to him. Otherwise, the stronger, “real” estrogen would be in there doing its thing.

I’m with Dino. I don’t deliberately eat soy, but a little in packaged products doesn’t concern me.

I have soya milk everyday . Its what I mix my whey protein with . I thought it had health benefits ( cancer fighting ) to it , but is it more beneficial to women than men ?

Notice the newer info in the first link refutes the alleged heart benefits mentioned in the second. However, the first is also a little off kilter:

Quote
“Soy proteins and isoflavones don’t have any major health benefits other than soy protein products are generally good foods,” said Dr. Frank Sacks, a professor of nutrition at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston who led the committee. “They’re good to replace other foods that are high in cholesterol.”

He holds to the outdated speculation that dietary cholesterol negatively affects blood cholesterol levels. For most, it doesn’t.

Unvelievable! Just started using soy milk this week to replace regular milk because it kills my insides. But Ill definetly pass on Soy if its going to have effects on my fella below the border… Research time!

I swear I'm going to stop at 8... ok maybe 8.5 :D

Don’t be afraid of soy. I think it’s best not to eat tons of it on a regular basis, but some certainly won’t hurt you. It isn’t poison.

As I said before and the second link I posted above points out, phytoestrogens are a mixed bag. Different ones may be estrogenic or anti-estrogenic. Which and to what degree and in which tissues? That’s the question.

Hey Bro they make regular milk for lactose intolerant people it’s expensive but better than drinking soy”liquid estrogen”

Soy goes right along with green tea for phytoestrogens. (That’s why I drink black tea, all the phytoestrogens have been cooked out). So many asians take a double hit with the soy and green tea. Why do you think so many asians have less body hair? Oh, they also eat less protein when young. 2nd generation asians in America grow up with lots of milk and hamburgers and they grow a lot larger than their parents. Oh, they also don’t live as long because their heart disease goes up. People really are all the same, it’s mostly just what you feed them.

Green tea is bad for manliness but good for an enlarged prostate. Just like flowmax reduces an enlarged prostate, green tea helps a little, but your libido goes down. Random thoughts…

Geeze , I drink green tea too . What should I drink to help my manliness ? :cutlass:

Water, tang, ginseng

I drink enriched rice milk.

I became a vegetarian when I was 15 years old. I’ve eaten a lot of soy products over the years, but these days I try to stay away from them. Every once and a while I’ll give in to some kind of fake meat product out of convenience, but these days I prefer beans and rice instead. It’s not hard to get protein as a veggie. Finding vitamin D is a bigger problem for me, hence the enriched rice milk. I also take a multi-vitamin. I still eat fish, so there’s a bit of iron in my diet. Men don’t need iron as much as women.

Anyway, I’ve read over the effects of soy for the past 5 years. I’m more cautious about it these days than I have been in the past. They seem to put it in everything, especially if you’re into prepackaged goods, like most of America. Personally, I try to stay away from most of that.fresh foods and dried grains. So, I don’t know if my words help. This has been a debate that’s been going on for a long time. Like I said, I try to stay away. I’m not really a fan of milk products either, but that’s for different reasons. I will say that next time I’m going to buy a protein powder, I’ll buy one based from whey or brown rice over soy.
