This only works if the follicle is not dead. If the follicle is getting thin, but not completely gone, it can potentially be recovered. Assuming the hair is being lost from male pattern baldness, you need to reduce the DHT in your scalp and improve circulation to recover the follicle. I found this site very informative (it was recommended earlier this thread I think):
Hair Loss Treatments for Men | Official Guide from the Experts
This page talks about male hair loss & how to stop it.
Most of the ‘natural’ or perhaps better stated ‘topical’ treatments are only effective at stopping loss & bringing back very minor regrowth (since once DHT builds up again, the DHT sensitive follicles will start to die again).
I’ve been using nioxin for over 10 years. I can’t prove it works, but I still have most of my hair (and both my grandpas are bald). My hair is finally starting to thin up front on top, so that’s why I’ve been using revivogen + tricomin + nioxin + rogaine. My hair loss was accelerating several months ago, but now I seem to be holding the line, and I’ve had some minor, but noticable improvement (just slight gains/ improvment on my receding hairline). I think I’ve been using rogaine + tricomin for 6 months now? I’ve lost track…
