Vasectomy - decreased T levels

I had a vasectomy back in February. Since then, I have almost no libido. I’ve been tested and my T levels are low, but not low enough to warrant a prescription for Testosterone replacement therapy.

So, have any of you guys had a vasectomy and experienced low libido afterward?

Thanks

No and fear of this stops me from getting one :(

Some guys get a libido drop after vasectomy, but not usually because of lowered T levels. It’s sometimes a psychological response to the feeling that they are no longer fertile.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Well I’m over f***ing joyed that I’m no longer fertile. I can now spread seed irresponsibly across the land. Problem is, I have no desire to.

I had a vasectomy done 35 years ago and have seen no change in libido. At 63, I am ready to go at a moments notice so to speak.

Good to know.

My experience is the same as conductor14, but I’m only at about ten years now. :)

Keep an open mind and a closed wallet... unless it\'s open to making a donation!

I have the same situation here. I had my Vasectomy 20 years ago. I was horny as hell for two weeks afterwards. I think the swelling must have been pushing on a nerve. Anyway, I’ve not experienced any reduction in libido. If anything, I feel less anxious during encounters because now I am “baby-proof”.

I get cut on January and don’t feel low libido!! I fuck my girl friend 3 times per week :) I have start PE 3 month after my vasectomy maybe this have help my testosteron level to stay high and I’m in gym 3 times per week! Did you do work out, gym or sports? This will help you for sure!! sorry for my pore english i’m french ;)

Start 04-26-2013: BPEL: 7", MSEG: 5 5/8. gain till 01-10-2014 BPEL: 8", MSEG 5 7/8. 4 years Brake.

Start #2 01-17-2018 BPEL: 7 5/8, MSEG: 5 7/8

NOW: BPEL: 8 1/4", MSEG: 6" . Goal: 9x6.5"

Nothing like that here

I had a vasectomy at 23, a reversal at 32, helped create a daughter, my sweetheart had pregnancy related complications so I had a second vasectomy. Best decisions I’ve made in my life.

61 in a week, going strong, still increasing penis size getting close to 8-1/4 (sure has surprised me), healthy with a VERY happy spouse. Plenty of challenges in my life but overall I’d have to say life has been bery, bery, good to me. I wish the same for all of you

I had one done about 10 years ago and still had the same desires also (ready at the drop of a pair of panties). In the last year I have started to lose that desire and went to my doctor. He said that at my age (44 at that time), it is natural for our T level to start dropping. I have an appointment to see him at the end of the month to have it checked again, I was at 89 so I am hoping that it has dropped below 80 so I can start the treatments and get back close to my old self.

vasectomy

Worst decision of my life 35 at the time 6 months later i was a different man no energy nothing 12 mo later at age 36 i had the testosterone levels of an 80 yr old man felt like i was dying been getting testosterone shots ever since and that’s been 9 years ago since vasectomy.

No loss in libido at all. Had it done 6 years ago. Been fucking like rabbits ever since. Actually since my wife was able to go off of birth control, her libido increased significantly making it the best decision I’ve ever made.

You mentioned your t level was low. What are you considering low? Did you have a baseline test before to know it’s actually changed? And why not going on t-replacement therapy if you think that it’s related to your level?

Find a new doctor. If he won’t prescribe it with a t-level of 89, he’s an idiot. That’s a low level of T for a 90 year old.

totally agree with johnman anything below 300 is low if I’m not mistaken the range is between 300-1000 and they wont give me a shot.
