What are the side effects of taking doses of viagra back-to-back?

I’ve been curious about taking viagra for some time, and I recently aquired some pills from a friend. They read vgr 100 on one side. First of all I was wondering how much to take, like 1/4 pill, 1/2 pill or a whole pill? I don’t have any erectile problems, and I’m a pretty healthy 25 year old. My next question is if I should avoid taking doses back-to-back? I was going to do an experiment and see if I can keep an erection for like 6 hours. Thanks for your feedback.

At age 25 with no erection problems you don’t need any viagra.

If you want to give it a try, 100 is way too much, 25 is plenty for a healthy young man.

Two of these separated by a few hours won’t kill you if you are healthy (heart & circulation).

ticker has it right. Cut your pills into quarters. 25 mg is plenty. Although you might achieve a spontaneous erection, the pills are not totally automatic, so a 6 hour erection is going to require some external stimulation on your part.

As avocet8 often points out, the half life of Viagra is 4 hours, so every four hours the pills strength is reduced by half in your system.

And, why would you want a 6 hour erection when 4 hours is the commonly accepted limit for penile safety?

You guys who get this stuff through friends or on-line miss out on reading up on the facts.

Unless you have ED and are working with a doctor who suggests it, no one should ingest more than 100 mg of Viagra in any 24 hr period.

I’ve heard that if you have an erection lasting more than 4 hours you’re supposed to see a doctor, but I just wonder what’s so unsafe about having an erection that lasts 4 hours? Does it have to do with taking blood from other parts of the body? I’m not a complete idiot, and I’ve read up on viagra. I just thought I’d consult with some people on thunders who might have first hand experience.

It’s about blood supply - getting a fairly constant supply to penile tissues that is newly-oxygenated so these tissues can live and continue to function. Four hours is the cut-off - the begin-to-worry stage. Wait much longer and you could be in trouble. This is different from wearing, say, a cockring on an erection for that long; a half hour or so with that. An un-ringed erection itself is not dangerous but after sustaining it so long (hours), the blood exchange rate into it changes; lower rate of oxygenation. Tissues begin to become oxygen-starved.

If you’re going to experiment with engorging your dick for six hours, I suggest finding a girl who wants to do a marathon fuckfest and make a weekend out of it.

Also, if you plan to get an erection for 6 hours (with no breaks in between), I suggest you prepare a clear and quick path to the Hospital…

Don’t worry, I’ve changed my thoughts. I kept a pretty good erection for about 2-1/2 hours last night. I ended up taking 1/4 of a pill twice, about 1.5 apart. Viagra is weird…it messes with my mind also. At least I didn’t get a head ache or a “viagra hangover.” I did have not-so-pleasant dreams, though. It also made my face completely flush. Oh yeah, and when I went to the tape measure I was quite thick for me, at 5-7/8”. The length was the same. Interesting experiment though. I think I’m done with my viagra experiments. Sorry if my previous comments scared anybody, but it’s good to know that there’s a lot of support here and Thunders.
