Zinc and Magnesium

So this goes back a long time, ever since I was younger. I had always had cold testicles and penis. Literally the skin would be tight, sometimes would feel kinda dry. Fast forward to the present, I still have the same issue. Although with PE its helped a good deal. But I have noticed taking my Zinc and Magnesium vitamins my erections are bigger and my penis has a regular color, not bluish or pale skin. Which I had always assumed was dry skin. Warmth and using moisturizing creams helped expand everything. Maybe it’s just me but I have been kff the vitamins for about two weeks, my penis went back to its regular way of being cold.

I took the supplement about 5 hours ago and my penis and testicles both seemed to become more elastic and warm. My EQ was great to.

Maybe I am overthinking, but being 260lbs and having weight issues since I was younger. May have caused my penis and testicles to not get as much oxygen as they needed.

Let me know if this is all in my head.

Please no one make fun of my weight. I have a lot of insecurities with it. Regardless of how I have improved myself. 260 just stuck, it never goes up or down.

No one here is going to make fun of your weight.

Zinc is reputed to increase the size of your loads, so maybe you’re onto something there.

The zinc and magnesium are in the same vitamin. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I suspect most of the benefit you’re seeing is from the zinc. First and foremost, zinc is a hormonal regulator. It can help increase the production of several applicable hormones, but testosterone most of all. It also promotes healthy cardiovascular health, and the issues you describe sound a lot like they’re related to poor circulation. Lastly, if you are diabetic or pre diabetic, that can negatively impact circulation. Both zinc and magnesium have a positive impact on diabetes, as the former can increase natural insulin production, and the latter lowers insulin resistance.

On the subject of your weight, have no fear here brother. This is the most accepting and least judgmental online community I’ve ever been a part of. I’ve had difficulty with my weight all my life, so I feel your struggle. At my heaviest, I weighed in at 445 lbs. I’m down to 325 now, give or take, and it’s not been easy. Still a long way to go for me, but I’m not giving up.

Haven’t been to the doctor. Not sure if I am diabetic or not. If I had to guess, I may say no. My 260lbs is a good deal of muscle. My stomach is really the only fat I have. But the possibility still exists. I don’t have a family history of diabetes. Not sure if that makes a difference. I know losing 50lbs wouldn’t hurt though. :)

It’s healthy to express your issues/concerns/fears so they are not bottled up in your head. There are a lot of cool and supportive people on this site. We should always seek to improve ourselves in a healthy manner. Small and consistent steps in the right direction. Obsessing about anything, especially if it is something we can’t change or takes a lot of effort to change can be very draining on ones emotions and isn’t healthy.

Enjoy the journey, be safe, be healthy.

It’s pretty easy to find out nowadays.

You probably know, or at least are around, plenty of people who are. Ask around and see if anyone will let you use their meter.

My pharmacy used to do the test for free; I haven’t noticed the sign lately, but even if there’s a charge it probably wouldn’t be much. Or you can buy your own, over the counter, no prescription needed, from $20 to $40. My wife has a collection of them she got for free; some were pharmacy promotions, some were with coupons. Heck, hit your favorite search engine and try “free insulin tester” and see what comes up.

A long time ago a company used to give razors away for free; they made their money on replacement blades. It’s like that for insulin meters.

I would say Zinc and Magnesium are the fundaments for a good load and I think many agree.

Weight training is great for EQ. Grr. Haha maybe I will get an insulin tester.

Been watching the foods I eat. I normally eat 3-4 large eggs each morning. They have .7% of zinc. Together would be 2.8mg of each day. I am excluding my veggies and haven’t looked into them. I feel like I may not be eating enough food. This is possible, I only eat in the mornings and toward dinner. So only 2 meals. It isnt enough energy. But taking the zinc supplement made me feel better.

But the thing is it makes me feel weird to take supplements. Not sure if our bodies make zinc but it seems to help tremendously with my mood and enegy levels. The dosage on the bottle says its 30mg.

Its all so weird I feel old, this isnt a medication but I feel weird taking a vitamin everyday to make my body produce something. :(
