Is plucking hair really a good idea? Is there something better?

Is plucking hair really a good idea? Is there something better?

My question is as the title asks, is plucking hair from the crotch area really a good idea?
I am sure it works well for others but sometimes I pull up a very small amount of skin along with the strand and I am very careful to pull by the strand, I never pull up the skin around it.
This causes a tiny crater to open and sometimes I even bleed a few drops. Thankfully it heals very quickly but I would like to know if this is truly wise to practice and if there might be something better, some that is as efficient but does not result in the loss of blood.

I would appreciate any and all answers. I like to have a balder penis but I certainly don’t want to harm future potential gains.

I use Veet bakini hair removal cream in that region. Works great in removing the hair and the regrowth is slower and less every time. Word of caution. Don’t leave it on to long. And make sure to wash the area well after use.

Stats 7/7/2017- 8.2 BPEL 5.3 MSEG

What color is your hair down there? You might look into a more permanent hair removal method. Blood from plucking hairs would indicate to me that your hair hasn’t been plucked before because it’s much less likely to happen if you’re a repeat offender.

I don’t understand how the color of my hair would be important but to answer your question, the hair is black, just like the hair on my head and face.

Should hair removal of any kind affect the color in some way?

Simple, If you have black (or brown) hair, then you have many more options for permanent hair removal. IPL or laser should work well and they are really cheap with a groupon. If you had blonde or red hair your options are much more limited. I brought this up because I presume you might want the hair gone permanently rather than dealing with temporary methods and their complications.

If I had black hair I would have gotten rid of most or all of my crotch hair a long time ago.

I did a quick search on IPL, it seems a bit dangerous to use on the penis though.

Not really if the practitioner knows what they are doing.

Amen!

I keep hoping that some day someone will invent this new super easy and super effective method that works equally well on all hair. Surely, technology won’t let us down …

April 2017: 6.5" BPEL -> July 2017: 7" BPEL

New goal for 2019: 5+ inches girth

My length routine: a few single 1-minute fulcrum stretches a day. Yes, that's all.

I think we’ll be waiting a while if we think new technology will solve this problem. Best bet for now is finding an electrologist that will work on men “down there.”

There is a non-profit forum (like thunder’s) on hair removal that I like: hairtell.com. They talk at length about all the different ways to remove hair, permanently and temporarily. The folks on the forum weigh in on what worked (or didn’t) for them. You don’t need to join to read what has been posted. Like Thunder’s, they don’t sell anything, or accept advertising.

The people there (generally) say that you get better results with electrolysis than laser hair removal, but they concede electrolysis treatments are expensive. They think that either method is safe on genitals (female or male). Unfortunately, with laser treatments, the hair can partially grow back. There are also do-it-yourself (DIY) methods, some of which work better than others. And they will tell you which devices being sold for home use on places like ebay don’t work at all.

It seems to me that a reasonable approach would be to use some groupon coupons and do a few laser treatments if you are a good candidate for that method, and then follow up with electrolysis. If that is too expensive, pick a DIY method and try that.

But you need as said dark hair and also light skin. Quiet racist but it needs the contrast to function as I understand.

As you say, quite racist. But I think the laser heats up dark stuff, and the light is reflected off the light stuff. So it works for people with dark hair/light skin because it heats up the hair, killing the hair follicle, and leaving the skin (relatively) unaffected.

Certain lasers can be used on darker skin with good results. Nd-Yag lasers have been used for darker skin for years. Skill of the practitioner is key. I’m doing home electrolysis on what I can and it’s working well. Primary limit to that is my vision and what can be reached effectively while looking at it.
