Permanent Laser Hair Removal

I just wax. It only needs to be done every month or two so no big deal and the hair population goes down in time.

I’m fair skinned so I guess the laser wouldn’t work any better anyway. Waxing is cheap.

I’m going in for my first ever wax job ob Tuesday (Manzilian, they called it). Any hints, or tips on how to get through it without shrieking like a little girl, Monty? I’ve epillated, self-waxed, shave, tweezed, and gave myself some serious burns with Nair, so the pain won’t be that new to me.

My only problem right now is that I had to stop shaving last week to let enough hair grow out so they can wax. My wife and I think the stubbles are horribly itchy and full on balls deep sex has been all but impossible with the stubbles (especially on my shaft).

If girth is king, why the hell does everyone keep talking about length?

I can’t tell you about professional wax jobs. I’ve just done it myself. The hair that comes back is very light so it comes easily with the next wax application. That’s the greatest advantage about waxing is there is no stubble.

I tried waxing myself and it didn’t turn out too well which is why I’m going to a pro today. Hope you’re right about the stubble. This hair on my shaft has been the bane of my existence since I started having sex.

I am going to look around for an alternative waxing method. I’ve just been using a small cup of wax that you heat in the microwave and it works OK but I think I’m going to spend a little time and see if I can find some small wax strips. I think once you have the initial hair patch gone it would be easier to use a strip rather then having to paint on from a cup. I think a beauty supply would have strips that they would use around the eyebrows or upper lip.

There is some incorrect information in this thread. Fair skin with dark hair is ideal for LHR. With darker skin tones, only certain types of lasers can be used. Blond (except some darker blond), red, and gray hair is untreatable with any laser.

Can you tell us why that is the case and if there are any alternatives for Red or Gray haired people?

Just a quick update on my wax job. It’s been a week now and no stubble to speak of. I’m getting a lot of tiny pimples, but I was told that it was new growth and should expect that for the next 2 times I wax. After that it should be pretty thin.

I have hair several inches up on my shaft as well.

Hey Monty, what brand of wax are you using. I thought about this a while back, but didn’t know if it was a good idea at the time and which brand to go with.

Fair skin with dark black hair are the best candidates for laser hair removal. I have never done laser hair treatment before because it can actually be quite expensive. Depending on what type of skin color/hair color you have will determine how many treatments you will need. Usually the doctors will say 2-6 sessions. After each session your hair will possibly grow back, but each time it will be less and less. From what I have read on the comp, your chest and back is the most expensive part of your body to be treated (prob because its the largest area on your body). Your arms, legs, and face are much cheaper. The site that I saw didn’t put a price tag for removing hair on your ass. Too bad because I’d be interested :)

Someday, I would like to get lasered. I would be an awesome candidate.

We should all go in together and see if we can get a Thunders group discount. I’m joking!

I wonder if lasering the shaft, balls is common practice in these places.

Does anyone know? I had my back done a couple times, and its awesome. Never did ask about the “manzillian.”

He knows I have a medical interest in such things, so next time I see him (he’s abroad for 6 weeks) he’ll tell me/show me what’s grown back, because I think they were only going to do it three times in total.

Why? Is their danger involved in further treatments?

I’m a hairy fuck, I need this shit. It’d be nice to be able to go to the beach without having people laughing and pointing.

Not necessarily. Maybe he wanted just to reduce hair density, not going bald.

A good hint here is to go buy a Luffa pad and scrub the area that they waxed. It’ll help get rid of the little nubs. they could easily turn into ingrown hairs and the Luffa pad will help a great deal at getting the skin open for those hairs to exit correctly.
