Well I just happen to come up with this theory of mine. You know how they say ‘use it or lose it’. Well this term can actually come into play for penis EQ. What happens after you ejaculate? Your BC muscles start to automatically convulse, which technically speaking IS a kegel, but one without intention. So if you think about it, while you ejaculate your body is priming your penis for a harder erection. Kind of like a ‘clean up’ system. Of course the amount of pulsing the muscle gives out is dependent upon your libido and enjoyment at the time of ejaculation. So the better sex you have the better erections you have, don’t have good erections? Maybe you’re not getting the proper ejaculation pulse needed to keep high EQ, and thats where Kegels come in. So kegeling is way to do what your body does anyway, but may not be doing enough. Think about it, I just thought of it, makes sense to me. Comment.

So, contracting the bulbocavernosus muscle (BC, also called the bulbospongiosus) causes the penis to get harder.

What is your source for this “most doctors” observation? And what is a “co-something?”

I forget the word I think it’s continenance? And most doctors, as in online urologists just say it’s for that and not for erections. Because doctor’s need proof or studies for them to agree. But my point is mainly that of course kegels work, because your body does kegel’s automatically after every ejaculation. So if you haven’t been getting great ejaculations, then your EQ will suffer, if you never ever did kegels. However kegels would prevent this.

Reflexive activity is different from conscious exercise.

The spasms that are triggered post-ejaculation are far different than a Kegel. And definitely WAY different than 3 sets of 20.

Your position is that most doctors don’t believe in, and therefore don’t recommend, Kegel exercise?

Just a theory I thought up, it’s open to contest of course. The spasm post-ejaculation when fully aroused probably has a way higher contraction than 3 sets of 20. Best way to get at what I’m saying is that when ejaculating, your body works on toning that BC muscle by spasming, similar to what we do by kegeling. So if you lose good ejaculation pulses from say maybe being depressed over few months, you lose BC muscle tone. Which is why I’m sure kegeling is noticed as an enhancer. Ah whatever I give up lol.

You will never convince me that an involuntary muscle spasm will have more impact on muscle tone than concentrated exercise.

But even if your idea had merit, Kegels would still help. You don’t Kegel and give up ejaculating - if anything you do so more. You continue to have as many (or more) ejaculations as usual, and the spasms incumbent to such, as well as your Kegel routine. Generally speaking, the more you use it, and the more it’s used to being used, the better it does.

We have a lot of guys around here who’ve tried this stuff and found improvement.

Where are these doctors of yours? Or were they strictly speculative?

Maybe you can get those electrodes people use for rehab http://www.buya … ise_workout.htm and put them on your taint so they stimulate your bc muscles. They could also have the added benefit of burning off your pubes. Okay, I was just joking about burning your pubes but I think those electronic exercisers are the closest you’ll get to automatic kegels. That is, if they work.
