Stop it man, you’re bringing tears to my eyes. Raising a horse from foal to champion jumper was rewarding, but there was something almost magical about watching something you grew from a seed, clipped and pruned to bushy growth, policed for signs of genetic males and hermaphrodites with Nazi-like intolerance, and nurtured through root-rot and other blights, finally turn into something that made you say “Wow” every time you enjoyed it. And friends offering 3 to 4 times the going rate for a small bag of your babies was a something else (we would gift it to friends, but never sell).
Raising my two kids are flat out the most rewarding thing ever, by far …but growing is second place just above PE. I just started PE after all, but I have a feeling that more PE results down the road will eventually replace growing as the number two most rewarding endeavor. :) (What the hell was this topic about?… sorry.)
