Cancer Recovery, PE and other things

one unexpected issue is the pressure and velocity of my urine stream. I have found that I cannot use the urinal at work, as it just sprays back at me. So I am now using the crapper instead. I remember as a kid, seeing who among us could pee the farthest. I bet I could beat them all now.

The pain during urination is mostly gone too. My little nut, lefty, who was infected, post surgery, is hanging in there. Still a little tender in places at times. I introduced him to my new suction pump the other night, which I hope will straighten him out.

Physicians Assistant cleared all of this up. My 59 year old eyes didn’t see the < in front of the PSA level of 0.04. So the expression of <0.04, means that my PSA is less than the lab can detect. So I have a PSA of 0 to 0.04, which means that I should be prostate cancer free. Continued tests and visits every six months for the next 3 years. I guess nothing is absolute. PA advised to start taking my daily Cialis for a while, and if I am still unable to get an erection, Trimix injections are the next step.

Headed out of town for a few weeks to see my new grandson, cheers to all of you that have been supportive of this blog!

Any new updates?

I was doing pretty well until mid May. I lost all energy and was totally exhausted, no matter how much rest I got. I was sure that it was my testosterone level based on the typical post surgical drop that most men see.
I scheduled an appointment with my regular doctors office, and had labs dawn before my scheduled visit. To my surprise, my T level was 508, which is higher than my son’s, who is age 25. My WBC level was below normal, which caused more stress.
Doc was not concerned about WBC, but drew more labs to check vitamin levels. This resulted in low V-D, which is surprising as I take about 5000 IU’s a day, Low B12, so doc ordered three months of injections. I think the first shot helped some, however I also changed up my supplement regime.

PE has been a struggle. What I could do before, pumping and hanging, now is painful and causes blisters. So after getting healed up, I am taking it slow. Since I am not able to get erect yet, I have nothing to report. I think I am about back to the same as I was before surgery, and I know I lost some length with that, but not much.

I am scheduled for a TriMix injection this week, so I will see what that is all about. It would be nice to be fully erect, even if it is chemically induced. Cheers!

I must have misunderstood my provider (PA) about the TriMix. So no injections yet, he wanted me to try sildinifil first. 25mg didn’t do it, so the next step will be 50. Trying to increase my PE as much as possible at the moment to see if I can get some advantage from that.

An update on PE progress, I overdid it again with the pump which resulted in a huge blister that took weeks to heal, so I am done with that for a while. As I said before, and I don’t know why, I can’t handle what I could before. Given that, I have been focused on stretching and hanging when I can. BSFL is touching 7" which should translate to somewhere north of 6.25" erect, so someday. I am not quite there even at the max dose of sildenafil (100mg). Just got my third set of labs post surgery, PSA is still not detectable, which is good. I see the PA next week, so I am halfway to the "no cancer, good to go" point, another 18 months or so. Cheers!

Hey, don’t be such a stranger! We’ve been waiting for an update.

What was your vacuum and time when you got the blister?

I became very sensitive to vacuum after a bad staph infection. After several years of pumping and vacuum hanging, I can tolerate a bit more, but nothing like what I could before.

Your best bet is to back off to whatever you don’t get blisters at and run with it. For me, that was about 2"Hg for no more than 5 minutes. I’m only using 5"Hg now, but I can run half-hour pump sessions without edema.

The vacuum cap for the ADS, extender, or hanger - I use the same cap for all - is still a problem, even at very light load. Apparently time is more of a problem than tension.

Hi ak491964!
I’m a user from the Italian section and I took my time to read your story.

The fact that your PSA markers are close to undetectable really means that the tumor activity has stopped! Of course, you’ll need to keep monitoring the situation, but this is truly great news, and I want to congratulate you on the perseverance and attitude you’ve shown in facing such news. You’re a warrior!

Regarding the PDE5 inhibitors you’re taking, like Tadalafil and now Sildenafil, I can tell you that they most likely have a positive effect on the gains from your training. This is because the amount of oxygenated blood your penis receives is greater than in someone who doesn’t take them. Moreover, these medications are well tolerated by most men, with very limited side effects, so with the right precautions, it’s possible to use them even for extended periods.

In any case, I’m sending you a big hug. I’ll be following your progress. And congratulations on your results!

I never go over 30 minutes and try to vary the pressure up and down until I reach max extension, which is about 16 cm. My device measures in

-mbar and ranges generally from -120 to -360. So yeah, I am going to take it easy on that for a while.

Thanks for the support. This blog is my journey so others, like yourself get unbiased, first hand knowledge, in the unlikely event that someone else has to deal with what I have gone through, the difficult choices, and that a successful outcome is possible. Good point on the meds. It makes a lot of sense and I will plan on dosing for PE too!

I have the same issues now even using my vacuum cap, which I use mostly for hanging. Got some small blisters from overdoing it from that. I was really surprised that I could no longer do what I did before. I am assuming my issue is related to not getting as stiff as I could before surgery. I plan on being a bit more active and update more often on my PE progress. I am really set on reaching my new goal of 7".

We all get injured sometimes. My injuriies were almost always in cases like yours — stopping PE for a long break, then coming back too fast. Keep up the good fight.

then: 6" BPEL, 4.88" MSEG, 4.88" BEG

now: 7.3" BPEL, 5.5" MSEG, 6.5" BEG

Are you running any specific PE schedule, or just doing whatever seems best for the day?

I don’t want to sound like I’m nagging at you for updates, but a lot of guys are scared shitless when they find out they have prostate cancer, and have heard way too many tales of incontinence and impotence from the old-school medical procedures. You’re doing them a great service by sharing your experience.
