Cock Ring Advice

I’ve only ever used the cheap silicone ones but I’ve been looking at some metal ones which you unscrew, my thinking is what if I can’t get one off atleast i can unscrew it.

I’ve seen this one, is this a good choice?

Based on my girth of 5", the diameter of a 5" circle is 41mm ish so is a 40mm good to start with?

That type of ring is primarily for your scrotum. I sometimes wear one or more as a sort of ADS, behind a vacuum cap. Cock rings tend to be narrower and one-piece.

I recommend buying neoprene O-rings off eBay. They’re very cheap, have almost no stretch, are hypoallergenic, easily sterilized, water and oi proof, and if the damned ring is too tight and won’t come off, it’s easy to cut loose if you have to.

Once you determine your correct size with a neoprene ring, you can use that to buy a steel ring.

If you’re much of a grower, keeping a ring on will often mean the ring has to be smaller than what you would use when erect. So a spontaneous erection while wearing a snug ring can become painful. The more of a shower you are, the easier fitting the ring is.

Sometimes I use silicon sleeve cut to 1" fold over and use that to keep me engorged whilst flacid after a routine.

If you want a ring to help keep you erect, then you size when erect. Otherwise you size for flaccid.

The problem is when you size for flaccid and then get erect.

These are devilishly difficult to get on without pinching skin between the halves. I use mine at the end as an ADS (1 pound).

Were you thinking of keeping it whole to slip on like a regular cockring, with the Allen screws simply being an escape route in case of emergency?

Yes as I’ve read various stories of them getting stuck and it’s not just the ring they have to cut.

I want something like clamping but for sex

What’s the benefits of using one when flaccid, I like the effect from clamping but want to incorporate that into sex life as I reckon that extra girth I get from clamping will make Mrs very happy she doesn’t like the pre pumped feel, too soft but hard.
