Genital Warts

I think I have genital warts, I’m going to the doctor next week to get my dick looked at. Just wondering if anyone has had warts before and would share what to expect for treatment/whatever. Thanks.

I had one years ago. It was tiny. The Dr. just kind of hit it a couple of times with a q-tip that had been dipped in liquid nitrogen. The spot was discolored for about a week, and then it fell off. Pretty easy fix. They now have a vaccine available, and you may ask about that.

I caught it about 15 years ago. The doctor froze the warts and gave me a prescription external application called Condilox. It is supposed to destroy the wart skin cells like a typical wart medicine, but it is milder.
I used that for a few years but still had minor outbreaks. I was out of the Condilox so I just used regular wart medicine like Dr. Scholl’s wart remover or Compound W . It worked but was hard on my shaft skin and took longer to heal. When I told the Dr. I was using wart med he said that is ok.

I have since not seen any warts for many years. I also jelq and pump using baby oil with vitamin E, and I wonder if that has helped control the warts also?
I would like to consider myself cured, but I read that once you have it you always have it and the virus just lies dormant under the skin.

Better than 50% of the population has HPV. Happy thought. And get your daughters vaccinated when they’re young.

Back in college, I thought I found a wart and went to the clinic. The doctor looked at it, said it was nothing and explained how the penis is a bumpy thing.

I haven’t had sex raw in over a year, but I read that the symptoms can be delayed..

What was the outcome of your visit to the doctor?

I had a friend that got them all over his ass and genitalia. He said they were awful…and silly looking.

I hope I don’t catch them. I know a few people with the herpes. The way people are having sex nowadays….pffttttt
