I need different lube!

I tried sliquid at the store and really liked its somewhat conditioner/lotion feel.

It still dries out, though a tiny bit of water and it’s back to useable.

The Biotone Advanced Therapy Massage Gel I recommended above has a similar consistency, but without all the nasty stuff that ends in -sulphate/sulfate, and comes in lots of different spellings, all equally bad for you.

I started making my own lube. You can use guar gum or xanthan gum, with glycerin and water. You can buy everything very cheap at whole foods. I’m guessing the $5 bag of guar gum I bought will make gallons and gallons of lube. I used about half a teaspoon in an empty astroglide bottle, and it was too much. The quality of the lube is as good as any commercial lube I have tried. The only downside is keeping it fresh. The gums are food products after all, and will spoil. I keep mine in the fridge, until I can find some cosmetic preservative online. If you use xanthan gum you can instead add a few drops of alcohol every few days to keep it fresh. Have not tried that though.

Edit: I thought of it because if you omit adding any moisturizer to the product, it will just lubricate. I have to ask about your foreskin though. Is it crunchy or something? Normally it’s a soft bit of skin, hard, crispy foreskin sounds exotic.

You are a freakin’ genius dude. We need to start a thread on here and formulate a recipe for a specialized pe lube. I’m thinking a mixture of glycerine, glycol, water, and essential oils like lavender, almond, or red clover.

I live right by a herb and supplement store so it won’t be any problem on my end.

What’s more important is the delivery mechanism I would like to find a means to spray on a watery lube and have it dry to a thicker consistency instead of soaking through the skin. Pehaps a large molecule oil like coconut or olive would work but would need to mix with the lighter glycerine, but then there is the whole water based ve oil based argument.

Haha! No, it’s soft on it’s own. I just don’t like to enhance it. When it’s in its normal softness I have better grip. When I use the Astroglide, and it’s moisturizes it…it makes me feel, I don’t know just odd. Kinda like I have to grip really tight to actually feel it. It’s probably all in my head though.
