I’m desperate, and I really need help from you guys. Urologists can’t help me.
I have had similar problems in my life. I was to the point, I almost had to plan bathroom stops thru out the day. I would feel like I needed to pee really bad then just pee a few drops. It was a really miserable time. I honestly think a lot of it is psychological. I know it starts off generally with some type of urinary infection. I really doubt that your PE work had anything to do with it. I did talk to my Doctor and he told me basically the same thing Cactus Jack’s Doctor told him. Hold back and it’ll eventually get better. He also told me that it could be diet related. Spicy foods or foods with a lot of acid could add to the problems. Caffeine is another culprit.
One of the reasons I was having my problem was I had had several infections from different injuries to my urethra. I’m not sure exactly what caused my injuries. The Doctor said, It could have been caused by straddling a fence, foot slipping on a bicycle peddle and racking myself or even riding a horse. I had actually done all of those at some point. I think it was from hard, rough sex. LOL No kidding. I ended up having to have a surgery to have the Stricture (scar tissue build up in the urethra) removed. During that few weeks after the surgery, I had to have a catheter and wear a pee bag. The urges weren’t nearly as bad because there wasn’t any pee to put pressure on my bladder.
So, my mind kinda took over and I didn’t think about it because I knew I couldn’t go. Once I had the catheter and bag removed I didn’t have the same problem. I’m not sure if it was having the stricture removed or having the pee bag to take the desire away. I still have some problems, but not nearly as bad as they used to be. I try to hold it as long as I possibly can and I think that has helped me. There are also drugs available that will help. Ask your Doctor if he can give you something to help with the urges. Your Prostatitis is something to keep an eye on. I would get it checked every year from now on, if I was you. I don’t think I really gave you any real help to solve your problem. I don’t think there are any simple answers. There are a lot of variables. Just keep your Doctor informed. Good Luck
