> sounds worse than Tommy Lee injecting Jack Daniels to get more wasted…
Alcohol enemas were the big thing after that. The alcohol gets absorbed through the mucous membranes in the lower bowel. I guess it’s a better high or something. Worth the chance of dying from alcohol poisoning, anyway.
> bioavailable “from as low as 8% bioavailable to 41%”, meaning where does the 59% go?
Probably some of it still isn’t "available" due to the chosen carrier, and is excreted through the kidneys. Remember, the carrier has to be temperature-stable, have a reasonable shelf life, not react with common medications, and so forth; what they choose has to meet all those criteria as well.
Some of it is probably broken down and digested by the stomach acids and enzymes. The more complicated a compound, the easier (generally) it is to break apart.
> - What could happen if it gets injected intramuscularly? 99% bioavailability and faster serum levels in the blood?
That’s a good question. My best guess would be "yes." While insulin, allergy antigens, and things like Caverject are on the market, the potential market for injectables is *much* smaller than for pills. If you’re old enough, you might remember when antibiotics were commonly injected; I got plenty penicillin and ampicillin that way as a kid. Nowadays it’s all pills.
A quick web search showed that injecting sildenafil is a thing. The first hit was: Sildenafil injection Uses, Side Effects & Warnings - Drugs.com
You might be able to find some research papers on the subject if you look.
> - What could happen if we inject Pharmaceutical viagra (micronized) into the CC? Will that work like PGE-1 or trimix?
From my (admittedly shallow and imperfect) understanding of how Viagra works, I don’t think injecting to the penis would be necessary.
