Overuse or Psychological ED?
One of the reasons why I started looking into PE about a year ago was my increasing problem with getting fully up when having sex or even jerking off. I did it off and on but decided to start really getting back into it a few weeks ago. I know part of my problem is the psychology of not thinking my dick is big enough even though it is. So part of this whole process is to also break that psychological cycle. However now that I’ve started PE I was hoping to start having much better morning erections than I had before. That was one of the indicators that the dick was working physiologically was the morning hard on. I haven’t been getting really rock hard erections in the morning for a good month now (far before the PE started). Perhaps I should just be patient.
A test to see if everything is working is for me to jerk off. So this morning I woke up very early due to some work-stress induced dreaming and a headache. It was soft so I decided to get it hard in bed. I was just slowly working the frenulum but it was barely responding. I was a little concerned since I thought I had a good workout last evening. I am very cognizant of overworking and looking for other indicators besides ED and all seems fine there. So I moseyed on to the computer room to see if it was possible to get it going with some porn. I fired up a video and within a minute it was 80% up and another minute it was rock hard. That’s actually a better response than I usually get even when jerking off with porn. In the past couple of months it would often take 10 minutes or so to get that worked up.
So there’s my conundrum that I’m looking for advice on. My initial reaction is that since all other indicators are good and my EQ/ED is the same as its been before, I think the ED issue right now is mostly psychological and a matter of being overly used to being stimulated by jerking off to porn rather than solo interaction, or in the case of playing with a partner psyching myself out. Any thoughts from the crew?
