Post-finasteride syndrome
Wondering if anyone on this forum has any experience with post-finasteride syndrome.
It happened to me about 6 years ago. I had checked forums and stuff and heard in a small percent of cases absolute horror stories, most people were fine. So I decided I wouldn’t do it, not worth it. Then my wife bought some and gave it to me, and stupidly I took it. Day 3 of taking it I remember like it was yesterday walking in on her in the bedroom and for the first time in my 36yrs I didn’t have a sexual thought. That was weird and scary, so I discontinued. That was it, I assumed it would come back, but since that day, there’s almost zero connectivity between my brain and penis, and to get just a few % of what it used to be, I’ve had to learn a lot of things to do physically i.e. cannot drink coffee etc, otherwise it’s just plain zero. Before that day, much of what I thought about was sex, ha. A lot of other stuff happened as well, my acne I had my entire life cleared, my hair did come back, although stupidly that was from taking HRT when I didn’t need it which I discontinued, my glute size reduced, decrease in motivation. TBH not all of it was bad, I have a lot more balance now. Anyways, just seeing if anyone else had such experiences :)
