Pregnancy question for one of our ladies

Pregnancy question for one of our ladies

At what points of the month can a girl get pregnant? My girl is on the 4th day of her period and we had a condom accident. Should I go get the morning after pill, or is this not a time of the month to worry about it?

If you think you can you might,

If you think you can't your right.

A female can conceive at any point in the month. I would think that if she is on her cycle, you would more than likely, but not necessarily, be safe. To be safe…………… usually ovulation occurs around 15 to 21 days past the cycle. But if you are fretting, go get the pill.

Thanks Kid!

Phildo …. Even better go and get a vasectomy

He may want kids later, save the snip, snip…

I’d still get the pill, which may be too late now. I hear you can still get pregnant when on your cycle though the chances are slim. Chances of course are like the throw of the dice. You never know when your number will hit.

You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Zig Ziglar

OK .. Have a vasectomy, after you have deposited goods in the sperm bank.

invirto is expensive, most people would rather do it the old fashioned way

Hey, on say, the very day that a girl begins to bleed, is it still possible to get pregnant?? Is that what is being said?

I thought that the chances of that happening were about a squillion to one… if not zero?

Keep something in mind. This is from my female drinking buddy’s experience. She had a condom accident, took ru486 over In Ireland a few years back and it didn’t work. When you take that pill and it doesn’t work, the kid will be really messed up to put in nicely. So she had to get an abortion, fearing the worst of deformities, brain dead, or worse. So please just keep an eye on things after the pill is taken. You don’t want any suprises like my dear friend did.

I know Lewd Ferrigno personally.

Pregnancy is most likely on day 12-15 from the beginning of a woman’s menstruation. Ovulation usually occurs in this timeframe. The further away from that you have sex, the less likely pregnancy is. The egg is not always released at the normal time, so pregnancy at any time of the cycle is possible if ovulation occurred within a couple of days.

RU486 is used to terminate established uterine pregnancies up to the 7th week. It is not the same as the morning after pill which is essentially a double or triple dose of a “normal” birth control pill.

I agree. Plus sperm can live for a day or two after ejaculation, so this can also mess up your calculations. Sex during menstruation, when the uterus is shedding its lining, is very unlikely to cause a pregnancy. Unlikely, but not impossible. If it did occur, it would be considered unusual.
