Premature Ejaculation help?

What are some good methods to get over this problem? Some people say masturbate more and some say less.. some say kegels and controlling the PC muscle better.. I just was curious how other people “mastered their domain”.

Of all the guys who have talked about this, regularwhiteguy seems to have had the most stellar success at controlling when he cums. Try a search of “premature ejaculation” and of rwg’s posts.

Kegels do help. Once you’ve conditioned that muscle you can then go on to learn how to do multiple, “dry” orgasms. Although this works real well once you’ve mastered the process, it has a very steep learning curve.

You can talk with your doctor, too, about the possibility of trying very low doses of the SRRI class of anti-depressants. They tend to extend ejaculation timing but in low doses you aren’t likely to have sexual fallout which they can also cause - libido loss, erectile problems.

Usually, I’m not super quick but there are times when I am super sensitive and no matter what, its inevitable. I know that I last longer depending on position and time of day too. But I want that “confidence” to know that I can control myself whenever I want and not just “play the cards” because now that I am single I don’t want to disappoint a girl I end up dating right away thinking I’m not adequate. The last girl I was with was happy with me and didnt mind if I came quickly at times but as many times as she told me I’m good, I am still not happy because I know I want to last longer.. RWG mentioned some good stuff to me and this site rules with advice!

I’ve just heard about 5-HTP acting to delay ejaculation. Anyone have any experience with this?

5-htp would work SOMEWHAT similar to Paxil. The reason is that Paxil is an SSRI and blocks resorption or technically what is called reuptake of the serotonin. The 5-htp would actually create more of this in the brain instead of just clogging up the drains so to speak of the serotonin.

So imagine if you will the 5-htp is pouring more into the cup as if it was water. The SSRI stops evaporation or even plugs a hole in the glass wear it would leak away at.
