--Slight stinging in penis while urinating?--

Hey, I have a quick question about something that happened today. I honestly don’t recall it happening before, but today when I was urinating, after I was done I felt a stinging feeling.

The feeling was right at the tip of the urethra (sp), at the very end where the urine comes out. Any ideas why this would be? Thanks

Hopefully it is just from soap. What are you using for a lubricant?

If you are having unprotected sex you might want to get a blood test.

Prostrate problems can cause that sensation. You may have also picked up a bug in your dick, some bugs cause inflammation in the urethra.

Or, in a recent workout, you may have just stretched and worked your urethra a bit harder than usual. Listing what kind of exercises you do could be useful to help figure things out.

No sex, so that shouldn’t be a worry. I use simple hand lotion for lubrication. No excercises lately.

Regarding the prostate problem, what kinds of problems of bugs would cause such a thing? How can I get rid of them? I know lately I haven’t been having my usual hard ejaculations due because I am not going long enough, perhaps there is some ejaculate built up?

I agree with tps: traumatic urethritis. Leave it alone, its will get better in a couple of days. If it gets worse than you may have a bacterial urethritis, should see a doctor for that. Alternatively - check for herpetic lesions - looks like a shallow ulcer, on glans.

The past weekend I spent a lot of time sitting in a car, I drove 3 hours straight (6 hours in total) driving to New York. I know at times I would feel a bit uncomfortable down there (getting humid/sweaty), perhaps this extended amount of time caused it?

Perhaps…mild fungal problems are common, easily treated with otc meds. Skin usually appears red and irritated, though.
