Strange Fluid From My Cock When Taking A Dump

I know this probably sounds weird, but ever since I hit my 40’s I’ve noticed a strange fluid drip out of my cock sometimes when I take a dump.especially if it’s a big one and I strain (sorry for the description.hope you’re not eating). It doesn’t happen all the time and it’s usually only a drop or two, which I wouldn’t even notice if I didn’t look. To me, it looks a bit like cum, but perhaps more viscous. I don’t think it’s pre-cum, because for me, that’s usually clear. Everything else is business as usual. Anyone ever have this happen? Anyone know what this stuff is? Thanks.

It’s probably prostatic fluid and nothing to worry about. What is happening is: as the stool passes down the large intestine it presses against your prostate which then releases a small amount of fluid.

Prostate fluid is not clear; it’s greyish in color and watery. If you’re getting something thicker, it’s coming from your seminal vessicles which may be getting squeezed some, too, at the time.

A8 is correct - it’s most likely prostatic fluid. However, if the gland is enlarged a bit or engorged (maybe from not enough sex) that could exaccerbate what you are experiencing. Have you had a recent prostate examination? Not to be alarmist but some prostate issues can start to appear in the early 40’s.
