Weak erection at 30?

Hi guys, I’ve noticed for the last couple of years, I don’t seem to get a full erection anymore. My glans used to look all shiny and at bursting point when I used to get erections from my teens to my mid 20s but now it seems to be soft and spongy. It is a “lazy” erection.
My general fitness is high, but my dick just doesn’t seem to work that well anymore.

I am just wondering if this is normal at this age, I’ve also felt my libido drop which has historically been higher than average I’d say.

I would first look at any lifestyle factors. Are you stressed? Are you depressed or suffer from chronic depression Are you getting enough sleep? Are you eating a balanced diet? Do you get enough red meat? Is your exercise regime too intense or not intense enough? Do you lift heavy or only focus on cardio?

Once you can answer those questions and make sure they are all in order I would give it some time and reassess.

If you have all those factors dialed in and your erection strength is still poor then I would go to the doctor for a blood test.

The last time you had a physical was when?

My diet is my only weak point. I’ve always eaten pretty much what I want and still stayed lean (6-10% bf). I train in boxing so a mixture of cardio and calisthenics. I would say my regime is fairly steady. Boxing training 2-3 evenings a week, I do my own workouts on Saturday.

A month ago I went in for a match where I was also jogging 4 times per week for about 6 weeks to the build up and I didn’t notice a difference in my erection.

I do suffer from depression and mental health but that hasn’t stopped my EQ in the past. I feel like my EQ is limiting my full size, I used to get 6.6 full length and 5.5-5 EG but recently haven’t been achieving that.

Erections feel lazy and spongy. I am considering taking a longer break from jelqing as in 7 months I’ve only had rest periods of 1 week in length at a time. But I don’t want to take a break and then get lazy so I want to make sure it’s necessary.

There are a lot of studies showing that male erectile dysfunction is due to arterial blocking.
The main reasons are saturated fats and cholesterol.
Try to eat less meats and dairy.
I’d say you should try going without meat or both meat and dairy for 1-2 weeks.
See what happens.

-vitamin D supplement (or get sun consistently)
-healthy fats (avocado, nuts, eggs, dark chocolate)
-eat more greens
-eating clean (no fast food, bull crap snacks chips, ice cream etc)
-compound exercises that build muscle
-stretching
-lots of water
-quality sleep
-supplement with ZMA (zinc, magnesium, vitamin B6)

I would bet you all the money I have if you did all of the above, within a month your erectile qualities would sky rocket. Your focus should be elevated testosterone levels. All of this will help deter depression as well.

is it just your glans or your whole unit? when jelqing stick a small elastic band around the bottom of your glans and jelq the top half of your unit slowly. it may be a blood flow issue? I’m no expert but if it’s just the top half of your unit it may be worth working that part abit harder

Do not stick an elastic band around your penis. As the tissue swells due to the constriction of the band it’s damn near impossible to get that off before your strangle it.

I can’t believe it’s diet, I’ve always eaten whatever the hell I’ve wanted and stayed in shape. If it is diet, I’m never gonna find out.

Also sometimes, for instance, this morning, I got a virtually fully fledged erection. So if it was diet that wouldn’t happen.

It just seems that from arousal it doesn’t get that hard like I used to be able to get it.

jimmybob55 I think you misunderstood my intention. I use a flexible band around my glans suited to my size, easy to get on and off if you clip something to it and make sure it doesn’t constrict too much. think it was thoughfulgold similar idea but with a condom band. yes it does constrict blood flow some as does clamps cock rings and the like we use. my glans certainly has improved in size and definition since using this method but each to their own.

If I misunderstood it how many others would too?

Never gonna find out? I hope your perspective changes. Today’s average diet is the main reason for unmotivated, tired, stressed and depressed people that don’t live long. It’s pretty sad. You can still eat what you want and take better care.

Besides that, I mentioned a handful of other key components that would help you tremendously.
