As from not so long ago I`m practising the ancient technique of edging and have been making consistent progress accompanied by new conclusions so to speak. Basically, as far as edging process is concerned it all goes well. I noticed significant improvement in terms of erection quality and libido increasement. I believe I even experienced a dry orgasm once, (that is I felt it coming and somehow I managed to make it go back by contracting the muscle just below anus and then the anus itself while my dick was shaking) however I wasn`t able to repeat it so far. A few times, like every beginner I suppose, I went over the line and blasted my load. Since I`m a bit more serious about it now and have become very aware when to stop so to not spoil my edging session a “strange thingi happend to my dick therefore myself”.
Well I decided to offload my balls recently and noticed something disturbing. I get to the PONR, get the initial pleasurable contraction and then my semen literally drips out. The orgasmic feeling is hardly noticeable, the involuntary contractions during ejaculation are extremely weak and my load became pre-cum lookalike. In a space of 3 days I`ve ejaculated once a day and my situation remains the same. I haven`t had my diet changed or any other relevant lifestyle alterations. Essentially what did change is my perspective. Due to edging I found that the journey is far more enjoyable than the outcome. Just to put nutritional issues out of question. I take the following on a daily basis (as I mentioned before nor lifestyle or diet changes been made):
-Chelated Zinc¬30mg
-Calcium+vit.d¬approx.1200-1600mg(added 3 weeks ago; (no changes with respect to ejaculation before started edging)
-Chelated Magnesium¬300-450mg
-Fish Oil¬3 times daily(added 1 month ago; (no changes with respect to ejaculation before started edging)
-Vit.E¬600-800ui(been taking sporadically, regularly for 1 month; (no changes with respect to ejaculation before started edging)

Recently added:
-Levitra 20 mg¬twice a week(no changes with respect to ejaculation before started edging)

Nothing to worry about, smallbutcrazy. What you are doing goes beyond simple edging and into the realm of "ballooning" and relatively advanced semen retention techniques. I don’t know if you just stumbled upon this stuff through experimenting, or read up on it, but what you describe is quite natural. Ironically enough, after having an ‘internal orgasm’, that is, withholding from ejaculating right at the PONR, it is not unusual to feel sort of anticlimactic when you do finally decide to ejaculate. That’s because you have generated so much pleasure and built up so much sexual ‘charge’ that ejaculating can feel like sort of a let down—you feel yourself going from a higher state of charge to a lower state—it can still be quite pleasurable, but the quality is very different from the experience of holding it in at the moment of orgasm, is it not?

As far as the ejaculate without full orgasm that you describe, that also is nothing to worry about. During extreme edging sessions it is not uncommon to emit some semen without having an orgasm. I explain this in this thread: Ballooning Demystified .

Thanks for your input. As regards to “balloning” I did actually read the famous Werner Ashfords thread with himself in the main role. Back then I haven`t had much success with so called “balloning” mainly due to the complex metaphoric language used in the majority of pages.

“Then redirect the energy …" Didn`t say much to me at all, in fact when I tried to work it out I`ve almost shit my bed. Edging however, have been explained in a understandable manner without shadow of mysticism, plus it is in my believe a foundation one must lay in order to practice any other ejaculation delaying/semen retention technique.

I`m in process of becoming “especially” familiar with the lecture you have mentioned, particularly “Dick Control: A Primer”.

All in all, I`m still a bit concerned about my radical semen transformation. It`s like switching from “shooting with cream” to “spilling water”.

Two points for your consideration:

First, you might want to reconsider your vitamin E level. Recent research is suggesting that excess E acts as an pro-oxidant, not an antioxidant: BBC NEWS | Health | Vitamin E linked to lung cancer

Second, rather than taking Levitra 20 mg twice a week, how about Levitra 10 mg four times a week? (If you have 20 mg tablets, break them in half.) You could essentially take it every other day. Or Levitra 5 mg eight days a week? OK, there are not eight days a week, but you could take 5 mg every day. Experiment and see what works for you. You may find that you get satisfactory results with less Levitra, and that it is more effective when you take smaller doses more frequently.


For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

My guess is that your body is adapting to the new neural circuitry you’re laying down by edging and dry orgasming. In addition, I don’t know how old you are, but ejaculating once a day might have something to do with it. My suggestion is to not ejaculate for a while (several days) and then see what happens. My bet is that you’ll have a normal load.

For myself, I’ve found that my ejaculations get pretty runny if I allow myself to come more than twice within a day or two (very rare for me). I’ve also noticed after many years of practicing semen retention and limiting my ejaculations, that very rarely do I “shoot” unless I consciously focus on pushing out during contractions — I don’t know if it’s directly related or not, it might just be genetic, but I don’t worry about it. My ejaculations are still strong, I’m just not a shooter.

Thanks for showing interest. I`ll definitely reconsider me vit.E intake. I take it for skin benefits which in my case were visible after 1 week of supplementation. Hopefully the lower dose will do the trick.

My vardenafil usage is strictly recreational and at the moment I`m on 10mg twice a week and “I can feel the magic” so to speak, I`ll follow your advice and stay on this dose for a while until I notice it becoming ineffective.

Cheeva, I don`t want to make myself misunderstood so I`d like to clarify my notion of “dry orgasming”. As far as I know from various threads on that subject, yours included, dry orgasming is being able to achieve a climax without ejaculating AND being able to repeatedly do so in one session, in other terms staying hard throughout. Now, I experienced that glorious feeling only once. To be more precise, while edging I went a bit to far and in that time I was pretty much convinced I won`t be able to refrain from ejaculating this time but instead of letting it go completely or holding an intense kegel(which in the PONR results in loss of erection and shooting into blader, at least in my case) I squeeze-pulled the muscle between the scrotum and anus and I blatantly felt like it going backwards in my anus direction. Instinctively I pulled-squeezed my anus and felt the whole “orgasmic energy” diffuse(Shit, it still feels weird when I recall it). It was a very gentle sensation but firm in the same time. Can`t explain it better.

Hope I`m not confusing anything and that you can verify whether I`m on or off the track. I`m 23 by the way.

Just an observation.

Didn`t edge for 3 days now, I can clearly state that my morning wood is considerably less rigid and intense. Edging(no ejaculation) once a day have given me steel hard morning wood, waking me up between 5 - 6 in the morning(sometimes even in the middle of the night) on a regular basis for the past 2 weeks or so. Usually I had trouble going back to sleep after being awaken in such a inhuman way, unfortunately not any more. Also my flaccid size and overall penis health, especially the next morning, seemed to be in a much better condition.
