I thought of an analogy that may explain my perspective. Let’s say the average 35 year old guy can run a mile in 9 minutes. Now if you are just Joe Blow who sits around and running is not your thing and you don’t do any sort of workout there is a good chance you will be at that average. If however you are hanging around a group of runners and people that run a lot, you will find that you are far below the average of guys in that ‘running group’ you are hanging out with.

When you start getting out and meeting women and getting into ‘the scene’ you really are not getting measured up against some statistic that includes the entire population. You are meeting up with women that can be very selective and have access to lots of dick. Much like the ‘runners club’ the average size is certainly higher for guys that are getting laid a lot. At least that is my perception. Size is simply more important among women that are more openly sexual. This is why when you see many swingers ads they do mention cock size. Obviously if you are wanting to be in porn, the average size is much higher than the population. Those being in ‘the scene’ or having lots of sex it starts to almost take on a porn like attitude obsession with size.

So my thought is if you are in a monogamous relationship and are not out being a player or having sex with the hot women who get a lot of action, then size doesn’t matter as much. But if you want to run with the big dogs then a 5.5” penis hurts your game some. I know this from experience and have never really had problems getting women despite being average. Most women will look beyond penis size but you have to have other attributes to offset that if you want to play with many women. I’ll also say I’ve missed out on far more because I’m not very tall than because of penis size. Height matters and as one women told me she would hate being a guy under 6” because it would be the same as being a women who is 250lbs. Being a small guy myself I was a bit defensive on this but she has a point.

That’s an interesting perspective. I would be interested to have a better understanding between the correlation between a bigger dick and being more promiscuous. I know there have been comments that suggest a positive correlation, but I’d be interested in knowing what it is. There are plenty of huge dicked guys here that are extremely loyal to their lovers.

I do think that if I hit 8” NBP I’d be just as likely to hit on a girl, but much more likely to take it all the way.

Yes, I have no hard data and it’s just an opinion. I’d also clarify that I don’t mean simple promiscuity. There are many guys out there with small dicks that try and be with a lot of women or end up shagging whatever moves. What I’m talking about is almost that unspoken club of hot women who are on the prowl. These girls talk a lot and almost all of them are not looking for men who are on the small side. I also don’t believe that having a big dick makes you more promiscuous. I believe that having a big dick makes it easier to be a player if you wish to be. Not that I really like the term player but I think it conveys what I’m trying to say the best.

I passed on statistics in high school and college. I honestly don’t know what represents a valid sample size for America or the world for that matter. I’ve seen enough guys in porn that are as large if not larger than I am. Just imagine how many of those guys never make it into porn. I don’t think Kingpole’s assumption that 4 in 100 are 8x6 is out of line. But then again like I said I’ve never studied the proper method to statistical analysis of data.

However, this is not a reasonable conclusion given the data.

Not that the data provides anything 100% conclusive, but the aggregate of studies - even the generous ones - agree that an 8” X 6” dick is unusually big. Pretty darn close to 1 in 100, with maybe a couple of guys who are a shade bigger.

In a world population of 6 billion or so, sure, there are a lot of big guys out there; monsters even. But the vast majority of the world has somewhat less to work with.

My own perspective.. I consider myself smallish to medium.. just my own evaluation and I work towards a goal of my own choosing. Last weekend I had the fortunate experience of having a threesome with my GF and another girl we spend time with.
