>>1) Should I incorporate regular stretches and v-stretches in each session? Or should I just do one instead of the other?>>
Why not keep it simple at the begining and add things as your gains slow down? I’d stick with simple manual stretches and jelqing at first.
>>2) Is there a limitation to manual stretching? (i.e. eventually do you have to progress to using
weights and stuff?)>>
For me I have gone from 6x5 to 7.5x5.4 in 6 months just with a simple jelq and stretch program. I am still gaining but at a slower rate. I’d say stick with the simple and cheap as long as they work then consider other advanced things, gadgets if you plateau or fail to get gains.
>>3) Do you eventually progress to splitting days between length and girth workouts?>>
Not for me so far. jelqing gives both length and girth stretching gives length. So far I’m happy with this.
>>4) Are there any links to suggested routines?>>
Look up my posts I’m sure I have posted my routine somewhere in progress/ routines. but here is what I have recommended to newbies lately:
5 min warmup
10 thirty second stretches
200 three second jelqs (10 min). Work up to 600 over the next six weeks (30 min)
5 min warmdown
3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off (5 days out of each week).
So the whole routine is 25 min at the start then after 6 weeks up to 45 min. I have been at this for 6 months and I don’t do too much more than what I listed above.
