I believe this is my first post :)

I’ve been doing PE for about 3 months now and noticed minimal gains doing manual stretches and jelqs. I’m trying to get to the bottom of the problem and I’m thinking lately that I’ve been overtraining my unit which could be detrimental..

I warm up every session and do standard manual stretches (all directions). At first I started with 100 jelqs and then progressed to 200. Then I warm down. 2 days on 1 day off (now 3 days on, one day off) One night I noticed some relatively minor pain in my unit, so I decided to scale down to 150 just in case. Now, when I jelq, around the 125 mark, there is a mild discomfort, almost pain in my unit.. Could this be due to overtraining? Am I just jelqing badly??

I’m a brown beast :p , so discolouration is hard to see, but I’ve only noticed an improvement in EQ and no constant pain. I’m so confused.

As I said, it’s been 3 months and I’ve gained a bit under 1/4 inch in length and under a 1/4 inch in girth. (Which, surprisingly, my girlfriend has noticed!) Any advice?

Hi Joleph , And welcome to the Forum.

I’m sorry to hear you have problems. But It’s prbably due to you being a bit to enthusiastic.

I suggest you stop PE-ing for a week or so and let your unit recuperate. Try not to masturbate. (I know that’s difficult)

But you have a mild sprain so it would be best to let it heal before you start again.
Think of it as you would a sprained ankle it’s got to rest and heal then you can start using it fully again.

It may be that you need to drop to a lower level when you restart. So cut things down to about half what you did. And see how that goes.

1/4” both ways is a pretty decent increase of course she noticed so congrats! Though you better take a break it sounds like you gained an injury that needs to heal up for sure.

What are your starting measurements?

Good gains my friend in both dimensions :D length and girth :D good thing girlfriend noticed, I advice you to go back to 2 days on 1 day off, just for safety. Keep up the good work

This pain that I had noticed happened last week and I kept training (at the lower jelq rate). This advice on taking a week off, is it worth it? There’s barely any pain and I really really don’t want to lose my gains!! Then again, a non-functional member is probably the worse of the two scenarios.

Is it recommended to stop the moment there’s a painful or discomforting sensation in the glans during jelqing?

Oh, and I’ve gone from a little over 5.75 NBPEL to 6 NBPEL. And my EG was 4.75 and is now just under 5.

Giving your penis a good rest is the best way. It’s like any other sprain you do have to give the tissue time to repair, and become strong. Otherwise you risk doing the same thing again, but the next time it will be worse.

But it is entirely up to you !
