Anatomy Q: What are the two parallel cords on the bottom of the shaft?
Hey, just had a quick question I can’t figure out and can’t find in the forums.
They are two parallel thin cord-like things on the bottom of the shaft that you can feel when your unit is soft. They are under the skin, all the way from the base but they end before the head. They are at 5’o’clock and 7’o’clock positions if 12’o’clock is vertical. They seem to be on either side of the corpus spongiosum, where it touches the corpus cavernosa. I read somewhere on here that they may be “ventral thickenings” which would make sense, and the source said they are related to the tunica.
They are definitely not veins. I originally thought they might be arteries but they seem too close to the surface to be, since I thought arteries were deeper. Anyone have any ideas?
