I’m coming to the same conclusion as microbrew.. This or the infamous “Seeing, not feeling” part of checking one’s LOT :)
But even if your LOT is supposedly low as long as it is still above 7:00 or 7:30 there can be much to gain from lig stretching.
I started with a LOT of 8:45 (which isn’t high really, but not too low either) and I gained a whole inch (and counting) simply by lig stretching.
As of now my LOT is around 8:15-8:30 (really hard to differentiate between those sub-angles).
Of course, it always depends on your body’s physiology. Listen to your body !

P.S: And no, as I had to find out in a painful way there’s no such thing as lower ligs.. At least not in a too stretchable way => If you try to stretch the lower ligs injury is almost surely to follow. :)
