Anybody get gains just from stretching?

I discovered this site a few months ago and started implementing the beginner routine about a month ago. I have been doing manual stretches for up to 15 minutes after a hot shower and have noticed slightly increased flaccid hang and possibly 1/8” on my bone pressed erect measurements. I haven’t utilized Jelqs yet but am considering starting in the near future. My question is have any of you gained using manual stretches only or are Jelqs essential for gains? I’m mainly interested in increasing length but of course girth gains are welcome.

My measurements: BPEL: 5.7”, Erect Girth 5.0”

It stands to reason a person could gain from just stretching. But I usually jelq as well, I think the combination is far more powerful than just one or the other. The only PE I’m doing right now is two thirty second sumo stretches, Right after waking, and right before bed. Maybe I’ll see some length gains, we shall see.

I suspected also that jelqs would probably give me quicker gains in conjunction with stretching but I’ve been a bit wary of doing any exercises that increase “pressure”, being worried that I might blow my dick out if I do it incorrectly. I’m 46 and will take it slowly perhaps starting with 30 and building up. (Not sure if being in my 40s is even a factor but I’m erring on the side of safety).

Yes just be careful and relax into the stretch. Best to do 1minute holds with moderate tension than 10-20sec with very strong pull.


Then- 5.7 x 4.7 (bpel x mseg)

I really don’t think that you can blow your dick out with “jelqs” if you do it correctly with and erection of 80% max.
I was born in 1967. :-)

I have never jelq not even once and i have gained 1.5 in length only from manual stretching.

I don’t recommend it though because jelqs can give length gains as dj8cut said. They are also good to balance the periodic EQ drops from stretching.

Most of everything I gained came from manual stretching (about 1.25”)

Thanks again guys for your input. I’m definitely going to continue with stretching as my main exercise and start to incorporate jelqing with a low rep count and increase slowly as I adapt and if I maintain erectile quality. I’m glad to see many of you achieved good results with basic stretching. Hopefully with time and effort I will join your ranks.

I decided to post an update on my manual stretching only thread. I posted just under a month ago and since then have increased my BPEL from 5.7” to just over 6.0”. It feels great to see that with just persistence and effort change can be made to something I thought was unchangable! I’m applying more of that lesson to life in general, hitting the gym to build myself up and get rid of this fat pad to improve how my erection looks (sad that it takes that to get me motivated but I’ll take it!).

My goal is to reach 6.5” with an ultimate goal of 7” length.

One question: I’m currently doing 2 days stretching followed by 1 day off. Can I do my routine everyday since it’s stretching only or should I stick with my current routine (in other words “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it?”)

You could probably stretch everyday I know of people who do. That being said I’d take breaks when you feel you need them. I can go a week of stretching with no soreness then suddenly that 8th day I get sore so I just rest. If your PI’s stay good I would say go for it

What exactly are you doing? Can you share? Great gains man!

I gained 0.5” in about 2 months, but I jelqed too!

Thanks man; I’ve been using a modified version of the beginner routine but using stretches only. I take a very warm shower for about 15 minutes. I wash my hair and face with a warm temperature then wash my body with the temperature turned up to the point of mild discomfort; not enough to burn but hot enough to really relax my muscles and make my penis relaxed and stretchable. During the shower I cup my hand under my shaft to let the water accumulate and soak it further (this also shields my balls from the direct heat). I stay in the shower until it is well heated, relaxed and fully stretchable.

After drying off I do my stretching routine which consists of 3 types of 3 stretches: pulled straight down (down center, down to left at 10 o’clock, and down right at 2 o’clock), pulled straight out (same 3 directions) and pulled up (same directions again). The heat from the shower makes my penis almost feel elastic and it actually feels pleasant doing them (not so much when I first started but definitely after a few weeks). I started at 30 seconds for each stretch and have built up to 50 seconds each. After I am done I wrap my penis in a washcloth soaked in hot water for 5 minutes.

I suspect my initial gains were from recovered erectile qualities. When I first started I measured at 5.5” BPEL; this bothered me as a few years ago I measured myself and was at 5.7” so I had somehow lost size. My first month saw me regain this and my second month brought me from there to my current length at just over 6”. I have never had a length of 6” ever before and I have consistently had this measurement now when fully aroused since the end of this second month.

My plan is to continue with my current regimen and see how far it takes me; I’m curious how much I can gain just using stretches. My girth has remained at 5.0” and I expected that wouldn’t change. Hopefully things will continue as they have been going. My next goal is the 6.5” mark and I would definitely love to join the Lucky 7 club (main goal)!

I’ll post at least once a month with my current stats.
