Are penis exercises worth the risk?

There are multiple articles online talking about how penis exercises have led to erectile dysfunction for men, and based on the sheer number of articles condemning PE as a dangerous practice, I do not know if it is worth the risk. What is the success rate and chance of injury in penis stretching and jelqing? Is there a significant risk of injury if done properly? I ask this because there are cases where everything is done right, yet there is still an injury that destroyed the person’s entire life. What do you guys think?

Any responses are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jonah

There is risk in any exercise. Following safe precautions, taking time, stopping to see how your body responds will lower risks but not make them ever go away.

I have been very careful and still get injury, I think that manual work is not for me due to physiology. Pumping seems to be ok though as it makes sure I’m being controlled.

Only you can decide if a small risk is worth any reward you hope for.

Starting Feb 2019: BPEL: 7.5inch MSEG: 5inch EQ 8/10

Goal: BPEL: 8inch MSEG: 5.5inch EQ: dialed up to 11!

Is there any significant chance that I get something like vein leakage and/or erectile dysfunction if I do the exercises correctly?

There’s always a chance. Only you can determine if PE is right for you.

We have a microwave generation that want to gain fast. That’s a recipe for injury.

Exactly!

Everyone is different and everyone’s individual physiology is different.

Some are able to pump and clamp and hang daily for many hours without seemingly experiencing injury.

If I spend more than a couple minutes at a time in the tube at 5inhg, I get a hard lymph vessel at the top of my shaft… go figure….

Successful and safe PE is entirely dependent on learning to listen to your body, and figuring out exactly which exercises are right for you, and maybe most importantly, which ones are WRONG.

You only have one penis, and you should be cautious, and patient.

Personally, I believe in using the least amount of stress, pressure, duration, and repetitions that will achieve results, and taking periodic deconditioning breaks to allow everything to heal and go back to normal.

But then again, I’m not one of the guys who has gained a ton either….

STARTING: BPEL: 5.9in EG: 5.0in

2018: BPEL: 6.7in EG: 5.3in

NOW (start 1/2024): BPEL: 6.9in. EG: 5.4in

If you have any misgivings then don’t do it at all. You’re fine the way you are. Enjoy life.

Hey everyone, just wanted to join in this thread. I have a question for anyone who reads this. I am familiar with or exercises such as jelqing and all those techniques but they are time consuming. And with me in school and not a lot of alone time, I want an ADS that I can wear to gain length and girth. I’ve been looking at the autoxleeve, gold kit that comes with two weights, 6 sleeves, leg strap, all of it. What are your guys thoughts on this?

Hi WTJ, Please start your own thread and ask your questions there so as not to derail Jonah’s thread.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7.75” BPEL; 7.25” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Are there any negative signals that may hint that what I’m doing is bad for my penis? Like are there any indicators that a vein leakage is going to happen eventually or anything? Or is it just no signals and I just AUTOMATICALLY get erectile dysfunction?

If it stops working properly down there, then you’re doing too much. Time to have a break and come back with less force and or time… If you’re getting good signs like a nice hang and better erections then you’re doing good. Stay away from the ruler and take your time. Don’t chase gains and you shouldn’t run into an injury…

Start - 6.3 x 5.0 | Then - 6.9 x 5.3 | Now - 7.2 x 5.5

Short term goal - 7.5 x 5.5... The dream Goal 8.5 x 6.3

Putting the hours in with my Phallosan and my Pump!

Thanks for your reply. Would a temporary “loss of function” down there be a bad thing and have a permanent effect on my penis or will it go away after I give it a break?

Also, if I always do exercises conservatively and never overdo it, how big are my chances of permanent injury like vein leakage and ED?

By your level of concern, I wouldn’t recommend PE for you. For some the risk isn’t worth the reward.

There’s simply no way to predict injury even when performing a safe routine.

Personally I think the same could be said from going to the gym, lift some weights, and a marginal percent of the population will suddenly die of a heart attack.
Is the Gym to be blamed or is sport dangerous?. To me it´s a similar situation.
Sex itself has produced some fractured penises and some traumatized egos after some girls released the “is it inside yet?” bomb. So …

In my opinion it totally work the risk because it´s not only a matter of size but for many it improves erection, cures premature ejaculation, and improve the feelings some wives are receiving

I imagine that each method has it’s own unique risk profile. There’s virtually no studies on the subject to quantify the risk, none that I know of that are well designed. Risk almost certainly being variably unique to individuals due to genetic/epigenetic differences in things like cell apoptosis, collagen deposition, etc..

Whether or not the risk is worthwhile, the actual risk being only guesstimated at the moment, is also dependent on an individual’s values and current size/functionality.

My first experience with jelqing resulted in some bleeding from the urethra because I simply applied too much pressure on virgin tissue while too erect. Afterwards, I still decided that the risk was worth the possible rewards; though I had more caution. The risk of injury is very real, be cautious.
