Are Stretchers Or Hangers Good To START PE With?

Are Stretchers Or Hangers Good To START PE With?

Brand new to the art, I want to do whatever it takes for gains from PE, as it’s my main bodily insecurity. I know all about jelqing, wrapping, and the newbie routine (haven’t started doing anything yet) but I was wondering if using a stretcher or and hanger this early on is a good idea. I haven’t seen this question addressed anywhere yet. I hear there are newbie gains and yes though I am naive, I feel to get the most of those would be to get the most tension under time with some equipment. Thoughts? If the answer is yes, what are some good hangers or stretchers (brand names or links) to try?

Quick answer is No.

There is a lot of info on this site so please use the “Search” button and filter out “titles only” to narrow what you are looking for. You are going to need to spend a lot more time reading before you start. That is just my suggestion when using this site. Good Luck

Current: BPEL - (Before 6.8' - 7') (Now 7' - 7.25')

Current: MSEG - 4.80' - 5.2'

Goal: 9x6

Not at all. Start with the newbie routine.

Ok, thank you for being concise. How far down the line would you suggest?

Give yourself at least 3 months of the Newbie Routine and see were you are at. Allow yourself to establish a working knowledge of your dick. You can explore thresholds and limits (as far as pressure) much better while doing the manual routine. From there, start with light and work your way up to the most advanced exercises. I consider hanging one of the most advanced. Something to consider years down the road. Clamping is in the same wheel house as hanging. (in my eyes anyway) An extender or a pump (with a pressure gauge) is a good places to start after 3 months if you are so inclined.

Forgive some of the veterans of PE with the shortness of their reply. They’ve answered this exact question literally hundreds of times. This site has a wealth of knowledge that is accessible with the search function. Educate yourself and you will have injury free gains for years to come.

PE rules!!!

Sept ‘17: 5-3/4” BPEL X 4-1/8” MSEG

Begin with a traditional hand stretch routine… this is foundational. If you can stick to it for a minimum of 3 months, then you can begin to implement weight hanging and pumping. Do your homework on all devices you consider using. Remember the bitterness of poor quality lasts long after the cheap price is forgotten! Invest in high quality devices and stay away from any weight hanging device that mimics a clamp or a noose. Those things cut off blood flow to your penis and have numerous negative side effects. Some guys have used them and gotten results, but they are the exception and not the rule…. just like my 84 year old mom who’s smoked her entire life and hasn’t gotten lung cancer.

I’ve never gotten growth from using an extender, traction or vacuum stretcher.

If I started PE from scratch, I wouldn’t use an extender, jelqing, or clamping at all. I would go straight into light pumping and light hanging. 20 minutes every other day at 5 inHg and a light multi hour hanger of .5 lb. has produced the best results for me of all the techniques I have tried.

Starting: 7"bplx5.2" 2017 (shrunk from disuse)(originally 8"bplx4.5", gained to 9"bplx6")

Current: 9.0"bplx6.125" 2020

Goal: 11.5"bplx7" 2021.

Is that really all you’ve used? A hanger and a pump? Doesn’t sound so bad, in my honest opinion equipment sounds easier cause you just strap it on and sit at home. But according to other replies starting with light jelquing is how it should be, not avoiding jelquing completely. (Honestly seems like the hard truth is there’s no ONE method to stick by, there’s tons of different ones that people suggest and report)

Could you elaborate more on what you mean by light pumping? Isn’t better for a beginner to just stretch his penis with hand in all directions then light hanging which could cause some harm for untrained penis?

Light hanging

Anything 5 lbs or under is what I consider “light”, and in my experience there’s zero chance of an injury other than a blister and that’s only if you exceed an hour. Believe it or not you can pull infinitely harder with your hand than any amount of weight you can hang with. You just can’t sustain the intensity of a hand pull for a full hour.

Light pumping

Light pumping = anything 5 hg’s or less of vacuum pressure for 15-20 minutes is IMO light.

If you decide to invest in an electronic pulse type pump device like the DP-4000 or the VacuTech pulse pump, start out with 2 hg’s and pulse up to 5 hg’s.

It’s been a long time since I was a newbie, but to echo the common wisdom, stick with the newbie routine.

I get it, you want to do everything to get results quick. I think we’ve all been there.

I got good results just jelqing starting out. You gotta get your dick conditioned. I jumped in to some things too fast starting back up from long breaks like stretches and clamping, then getting minor injuries - blood spots and blisters which required significant time off. Getting overzealous too quick often slows you down.

During my first PE journey I tried just about everything. Unfortunately by the time I got around to pumping I had already made my dick extremely tough.

A decade passed.

For my second, I’ve almost entirely done light pumping and light hanging. I’ve done a few variations of that, seeing if I can get better results, but no clamping, jelqing, manual or extender stretching, or heavy hanging. I’ve tried many different chem PE routes, but so far nothing has increased the baseline gains from light pumping and light hanging.

The way I see PE for myself, because I want to gain a lot, is that the first priority is avoiding collagenization of the penis, growth comes second. Clamping is much faster than light pumping and hanging, but past experience has shown me I can not get to the dimensions I want if I clamp.

Ok thanks for explanation. Can you explain what kind of measure for a pump device do you use that has pressure gauge to see hs’s? Is bathmate one of devices that can do that? Are those devices water based or without water?

Vacuum pressure - Hg gauge

None of the hydro type pumps have a vacuum pressure gauge, which can be an issue for those who get overly aggressive with high pressures.
There are plenty of hand pumps that come with gauges that measure Hg pressure, unfortunately all of them are made in China. You can find them online and at Harbor Freight. They are called “Brake Bleeders”. The one’s we sell with our systems are the red handle type with a brass cylinder. We sell ours for $41.95 + shipping. LA Pumps sells the same exact item for $72.95, VacuTech is $79 bucks and other adult sites are all about the same. We buy in bulk and usually purchase 250 units at one time so we get a very good price, and we pass those savings off to our customers…. No 300% markup!

We have a limited number of the plastic pumps still available that are similar to the MityVac you find at Harbor Freight for $49 + tax.
