Can 2 - 3 Days a Week Be Effective?

Hi, I’ve been committed to PE for a little under a year now. I’m mainly focused on girth, but wouldn’t mind a little length along the way. Recently, I’ve been trying a pretty intense routine with a few rest days in between - basically 1 on/2-3 off. I was wondering if this could be effective or whether I should dial back the intensity a bit to be able to get more days in (say 1 on 1 off, or 2 on 1 off). I’ve read that girth training requires a lot of rest, but at what point is too much rest detrimental?

Oh no, that was written by me in some misleading way.
I mean the timeslot for PE in the daily agenda needing privacy, warm-up/warm-down and whatever you do as PE method will be shorter.
Kegels can be done in a socially public time and place, as it’s discrete.

I never thought about Kegels making gains faster. I consider Kegels als additional exercise, not as PE exercise per se. They directly help with better EQ.
But as EQ van be necessary for a couple of high erection-level exercises like Uli’s, Horses or clamping, yes they may make the gains showing up a bit faster as the exercises will be more effective.

Excellent question raising a fundamental topic of PE: optimum frequency.
One question is “how much can the dick take without showing negative PI’s?”.
The other question is “at what frequency is growth fastest?”.
The answer to those two question is not always the same frequency.

Let’s assume you work by a monthly scheduling. So your period is one month. You keep the routine stable, just modifying the frequency and measuring once a month.
- The first question can be resolved pretty easy. Start on a low frequency and increase the number of on-days until fatigue or less growth per period shows.
As an example, you may find out that for your given routine, your dick can take a 4on/2off frequency without complains.

- The second question can be answered basically in the same manner, only I would recommend to do two- or even three-period steps for increasing.
As example, you may find out that a 2on/2off frequency produces fastest growth over a period of let’s say 3-4 months.

Therefore, in that example, the decision should be easy, as a 2/2 gets better results than a 3/2. You just need the courage to overcome the mental setting of more-is-always-more and step back to the 2/2 frequency.

The example shows that more on-days do not always produce more or better results, as the optimum frequency is highly individual.
In my opinion, this is less depending on the type of exercise you do but more on the individual body’s need for rest and growth.

The general idea of doing more rest days if you have an intense routine does not seem wrong to me. But I am afraid to tell you that you have to find it out yourself.

Richard explained everything I wanted to say, but just in greater detail. Basically just listen to your body. More day might not help, or having a routine that’s too straining might be counter productive. Unfortunately nobody can help you here, as it totally depends on what your body can handle and where you are on your PE journey. So you basically just have to try something for a month and see if it works. And then next month you do the same. Until you find that sweet spot where you see great results.

Welcome. I speak afrikaans as my native language, and its a mixture of german and dutch. Less german than dutch though. Anyway, a few questions. How long have you been PE’ing, secondly, have you done the newbie routine, and then how much experience do you have with hanging?

So I am getting back into it today and I will be going hard with the newbie routine,
But I am here to ask do pills and that type of stuff actually work? (Permanent effects of course)
Cause I do have one of those cheap pumps and I am wondering if I should use it.

Welcome back. Well as far as the pumps are concerned, the cheap one usually doesn’t do much, and seeing as your just starting again, I would stick to the newbie routine until you stop seeing gains from it. Do not try the pump for at least 3 months (until you penis is better conditioned to take more abuse) of the newbie routine, because you might pick up an injury and then be out of PE for months. Or forever. So be careful.

I have a question.

I’m getting back into jelqing after a brief hiatus, and while I’ve gained with things the way they’ve been, I find myself wondering if maybe my unit does not look like it should after a solid session.

I’m stretching, doing 300 Jelqs, broken up by sets of ULI’s at each increment of 100, and then meditating with a growth-based mantra for about 10 minutes afterwards.

My concern is, other than a deeper red color throughout my penis, and some occasional swelling of lymph fluid along my circumcision scar, I don’t seem to be hanging much fuller.

Maybe my form isn’t quite correct? Any input?

I’ve given up jelqing for a good 2 weeks - 3 weeks so far to combat some bad glans discoloration (I didn’t jelq the glans, it would just darken from jelqs). It’s starting to fade, though not as much as I was hoping for. It doesn’t hurt, mind you, but it’s just not very attractive on white skin. I want to re-add jelqs to my routine, and I’m of the opinion my discoloration is probably going to be permanent without adding skin whitening acids to it.

I’m a bit nervous of doing so, so my question is: How slow should I reintroduce jelqs? I was doing WAY too many before, around 200+ for 3 seconds with what I’m assuming was too much force. I was thinking of only doing 20 - 30 and increasing the volume by 10 weekly until I hit 200 again, and focusing on being SUPER gentle.

What do you guys think? How many should I start with in the beginning, or would you recommend I wait until the discoloration has completely dissipated? I’ve been stretching in the meantime, so that might be fucking with the healing.

It might be a sign that your dick isn’t ready and conditioned enough to handle jelqing at that pressures. Don’t jelq above the 80% mark until your dick can handle it. Properly handle it. I say start off as you explained, 20-30 adding 10 each two weeks (like in body building its not good to amp things up too fast), but lower you erection to about 60%. This will lessen the intensity.

Hey guys,

So after about 2 weeks of healing from a nose surgery, I’m ready to get back to the newbie routine and continue with what I was doing.

I definitely saw maybe not permanent gains, but definitely a more “full” look in my cock after 10 days of doing the newbie routine a couple weeks ago.
Huge motivation.

My question is, what is a good goal to aim for within 6 months?
In my sig, I know I have that I hope to gain a full inch.. I really don’t think thats possible to be honest, and I want to aim for something thats more reasonable so I don’t get disappointed come the 6 month mark.
So, whats reasonable?
