If you need some beta testers, I’m your man ;)

Looks good so far

I will consider it once I have the design, and manufacturing process streamlined to have at least adquate efficiancy, I also need to buy tools, so far I have been doing everything with a hand saw, dremel tool, a drill, and hot glue, not very consistent. But you are also welcome to build one of your own and improve the design if you want, I just ask if you do that, that you keep the plans public.

Anyway when and if I do need beta testers you are first on my list, Myself.

The other roller will not be held on the piston, so it will be stationary apart from the back and forth movement. A track holding the white nylon washer you see in place will slope downward and then lock into a lower track via locking mechanism, the linear actuator will then move forward and perform the jelqing movement.

I got the bottom part of the clamp done and uploaded some pictures, I also got the supplies to build a track, and I am currently looking at timing belts, timing pulleys and motors for the back and forth movement. All that is left to be done on this part is hot gluing the incline plane so the lock can work. The containment will be the last thing on the list. I have made a road map for the auto jelqer, and how far along I want it to be by certain times. Anyway I am getting off topic. Here are the pictures.

Each time I check back on this thread, I am impressed by your creativity and ingenuity! Keep it up! I look forward to seeing the “Auto-Jelqer” in stores!!!

Thanks Gimli, I appreciate it.

I am going to order the timing pulleys from robotmarketplace.com which I wouldn’t suggest anyone does if they make their own, because a few things about them are suspect. Their shipping and handling costs appear to be inflated. I came to this conclusion when the check out page showed that one timing pulley, which is 20 bucks by the way, weighs 2.5 lbs, and when I add another timing pulley it only goes up to about 2.8 lbs. Also one 1.273” diameter pulley is 20 buckets, something that couldn’t have cost more than $5.00 to produce is 20 bucks! Anyway, I just can’t find a site that sells timing belts and pulleys retail, so that is the only reason I am using this site. Next time I will order in bulk, and probably use plastic.

I am thinking about making the auto jelqer push button at first with a little light that tells you when it has reached then end of the track, then I will install some sort of timing mechanism, or sensor, to make it fully hands free.

I am currently having a bit of difficulty with designing the track, mainly because I am using trig, and I was never good at trig.

Thank you all who have commented, just keep it coming. Will post more in the coming days.

If you want any help with the trig, PM me. Sadly, I do math for fun :(

Nah, I figured it out I had my calculator set to radians instead of degrees so I kept coming up with a negetive answer for tan(27.5). Thanks though.

So I took apart a printer and managed to slice up both my thumbs, but go two motors in the process. For the actuator I will have the timing pulleys connected to a mount that is attached to a drawer rail so I have a stable base. I made the guide rail, but basically it sucks, so I am going to build the linear actuator first and then I will build a new guide rail, I also have a few ideas of how to build it better. I may remake the piston as well because as you all know it is really fucking big, but I may wait till I have a machine that demonstrates the proof of concept before I do that.

Gerry I see what you mean, the only problem I can think of with a pistion is that if you the jelq piece to move 1 foot, the cranshaft will be 1 foot in diameter then the machine would need to be another 1 foot long, so it would be a total of 2 feet long and 1 foot high, and it would be impossible to down scale. There are some advantages though, like simplification. The main problem with something holding the glans is that it would get in the way of the jelqing doohicky. You will see when I am done, it will make more sense, I am not very good at explaining stuff.

How would you expect to stay erect enough to jelq during “studying lectures, jobs, and other stuff”? Mechanics aside, seems to me jelqing would require focus and attention to work. (Still, I have to admit that the image of me sitting at my desk all day at work while some machine jelqs me is not an entirely unattractive one. It certainly would get me noticed by the boss!)

muggs

I am not suggesting this for use outside a place of privacy manly because, it isn’t like an ads, where it can be concealed easily, it would also be somewhat noisy, not loud or anything, just even if it was concealable, people would wonder what the humming from your pants is. As far as staying erect goes, if you can’t stay erect you could just use a cable clamp or a hose clamp, and clamp your dick off so you are only 80% erect instead of 100%. Basically it is for home use, so you could watch tv, play video games, pay bills, do work of any kind while you are jelqing.

Yay Parts!!!

I got some new parts everyone, progress halted to a standstill while I waited on parts. Now I have a slider used fore drawers and two timing pulleys and a timing belt. Progress should pick up again. Here I have some pictures. I decided not to go with robot market place, because after reading a few articles, I found that Mcmaster Carr was far better and cheaper, and probably more customer friendly. I got the drawer slide from a hardware store, Sutherland’s to be precise, no major reason I got this one, just thought it was more heavy duty and looked cooler. I will probably use power window motors, since I heard they were good for hobby robotics. I am thinking I will need to make it DC converted from AC because batteries are just plain expensive.

I dismantled a printer a week ago, and just now started thinking that if I used the the same system, a bar with a mount on it, I could save space. So I uploaded a picture to show you what I was talking about. I am thinking I might just go to Sutherland’s and get a bar or something that can be used as a slide the same way it is in this picture. I am pointing to it.
