New auto jelqer design
Hello, I have returned with my tail between my legs, but non-the-less ready at another attempt at the auto jelqer. This time I made 3d pictures before I posted, and designed, and designed many different ideas before I came to the conclusion of using this but if you are not familiar with my last attempt I will outline the problems since I never posted them anyway.
Low power output
too much friction
just plain stupid
I will end there and unveil the next design. It is similar to an aperture or an iris. You could call it a sort of a mechanical sphincter. The advantages of this design are a self contained motor and actuator instead of having to transfer power. Plus it has a much higher power ratio because of this. Unfortunately it will be harder to make but I have already contacted prototyping companies and asked about requesting a quote. The actual actuator shouldn’t be harder to make though. Tell me what you think and ask me to explain anything if you need me too.
Another advantage of this is because of it’s circular design it could be used for vacuum jelqing a frontier not yet reached.
One more thing, the linear actuator isn’t shown this is just the designs for the gripper/motor.
