Balls recovery after varicocele

Balls recovery after varicocele

Almost 9 years ago I had an operation to remove a varicocele that I had at the age of 15. The varicocele was classicly on the left side. The varicocele was gone after the operation, so thats good. But after the operation I said to the doc that the left ball was still not as the right ball. I could feel (and definitly see, when taking a bath or shower) that there was still something there. He said it would go away. But it never did.

Years later I went to see the doc again. Here is the thing that bothers me the most. It’s quite cold in the hospital so your scrotum gets hard and you can’t really show your balls. So he used an echo machine, and he said everything is ok but that the condition I had could be amassed fluids/water (hydrocele or spermatocele). It was not recommended to have surgery for that.

Now my left ball is twice the size of right what makes the scrotum hang low on the left. And the amassed fluid thing makes the hang on left even more. It makes me insecure when with women and it just feels annoying during summer. Have to weird tight boxers at all time.

I was hoping that someone else might recognize this problem and can help me resolve this problem.

I started massaging my balls, and pressing the amassed fluids lightly hoping that this fluids will go away. And also I ordered Damiana. Hoping this will increases bloodflow so it speeds things up, hopefully ending up with two equal size balls.

If it’s a while since you last saw the doc, you should probably get it checked by another doc, just to be on the safe side.

The left tesicle hangs lower in almost all men. It’s an evolutionary adaptation to prevent your balls from squishing eachother between your legs. The majority of men also have one testicle larger than the other.

That’s very true, but it shouldn’t be twice the size.

Now I’m wondering if I should operate my varicocele…

RE-RE-Started (21.03.2024): 5.5" BPEL, 4.5" MSEG

Current: 5.5" BPEL, 4.7" MSEG

Current Goal: 6.6" BPEL, 5.3" MSEG -- Long Term Goal: 7.1" BPEL, 5.5" MSEG

I also have a varicocele and thought about getting it operated . It could have been that my varicocele (still present) lowered my libido by some degree ; I tried taking hot baths with circulation enhancing supplements throughout the years and I can say that even though I still feel it there, it is diminished in size and it doesn’t bother me (no pain, no disconfort, etc).

Have you had any symptoms like low libido before operation which improved after ?

Starting stats: 6.4" / 5.6" Current Stats: 7.4" / 5.8" Short term goal: 7" / 6" Long term goal: 8" / 6.5"

I had the surgery when I was 15. They recommended the operation because the varicocele would raise the temperature in the scrotum. Making it too warm, which would be bad for the fertility. Because the sperm cells need a lower temperature then the body. Because of the age I can’t really tell if I was experiencing libido problems. Was just getting to know my body. Also I know that the left ball is usually a littler bigger. But the problem is. I can’t really tell if it’s really twice as big as the right one. Because the left one has this condition which makes it hard to tell exactly.

.

I had a varicocele since I was 12 and got it removed about two years ago. One of the best things I ever did. No complications and I actually feel more confident now (for some reason). I highly recommend it. I never experienced low libido from it, only being married to a complete bitch. Took care of that too. :)

As far as the original post; go an see a doctor about the different ball sizes if you are that concerned. I had huge balls when I was younger, women often commented on it. However, they’ve slowly gotten smaller over the years and one is slightly smaller than the other.

The second time I went to the doc, he said it was a hydrocele. He didnt reccomend having that operated because it was a operation with risk. Anyone of you guys have experience with a hydrocele?
