Yes i actually have a pretty great warm up routine also. I have a rice sock and a gel blanket which i microwave both and i alternate between the two using an electric heating pad to keep the other warm. I am warm the whole time but i am thinking just using too much force i guess.

Use a piece of tissue paper to help stop your grip slipping. Grip with thumb and first finger a little below the glans with the glans in the palm of your hand to increase the surface area of the grip. You shouldn’t be gripping the glans too hard, just using it to aid your grip a little.

I grip just below the head, but before I make sure to pull the skin back a bit to ensure I’m not stretching skin too much and it is comfortable.
