Bloodflow Keeps Escaping the Clamp!

So I’ve been doing PE for ~9 months. Made some length gains and none in the girth department, so I figured it was time to try clamping. So I’ve been at it for a couple weeks and I remember only having 1 session where my penis felt tight, hard, and full of blood for the entire duration of the clamp (5 mins). Aka 100-110% erection/fullness. The other sessions I get a full erection and then it only feels hard for ~30 seconds. After that it stays semi-full but not hard. Some of the blood is flowing out. I believe the issue is my girth. I am 4.5 inches in girth and with a basic wrap + the clamp I can click down all the notches and it’s still not tight. So I glued rubber to the clamp to fill the space (as shown in the pic once a mod approves it). Now I use an ace bandage wrap + the rubber clamp and it feels super tight when I clamp down (can’t even go max notches), but the blood still flows out. I have to be doing something wrong. Maybe I just need a thicker wrap and I can use the normal clamp without the rubber addition? But I feel like a thick wrist sweatband is too soft and won’t hold the blood in when I clamp. I need help getting this down so I can get proper clamp sessions in.

What should I fix? What wrap should I use? Keep in mind my skinny girth.

A few things you could try.

Multiple clamps.
Neoprene wrap (gotta sew your own).
Gluing neoprene to the inside instead of rubber (more compressible).

Beware of discoloration once you get it working. I’ve found when clamping tight enough to cut off backflow that some post workout discoloration is more or less inevitable. So if that’s something you care about, take lots of rest days to let it clear up between workouts.

Also of note. Lots of guys gain from clamping without having to go that tight. I.e. they either just edge in the clamp, or they let the expansion subside slowly and then just do another set.

Personally I prefer to edge in the clamp. Keeps the discoloration down.

My suggestion:

Measure ur erection. Then edge back up. Then clamp. Then measure it then. See if you are engorged. If you are perfect. If not kegel it up til you are and see if you can maintain that without going tighter. If not maybe you need to go tighter. But watch your PI and adjust as needed.

Due to nerve damage in my back and pelvic region i am inconsistent.

This probably isn’t the answer your looking for, but I promise you it will benefit you greatly.

I suggest doing a lot more research upon clamping. Look into some good threads like big girthas, drillas, Houston woods, TNT, to name a few.

You aren’t maintaining the blood in your unit because simply, you aren’t maintaining it, from what it sounds like. If you aren’t keep your arousal level up, than of course it will go down. Unless you 100% clamped off the circulation, which is exactly what you never ever want to do, unless you don’t want a penis.

Your penis is not too small, that has nothing to do with it. Look into edging while clamped, time of sets, amounts of sets, frequency of routine, when to know when to release clamp or tighten more, learning the communication of your unit, when is it fatigued, positive/negative PI’s of clamping. This is all crucial to a successful clamp routine.

Light edging helps me, maintaining arousal also.

Try measuring girth (like suggested before) while still clamped, when you’re coming to the end of your set. You might be surprised how much expansion you’ve got. :)

LG Hanger has these girth bands that I am considering buying. Girth Bands (Set of 3) ID Internal Diameter of .875" LG Hanger. I’m definitely not affiliated to this guy. Remove the link if it’s not allowed. Do you think these would be good for clamping?

I’ve elected to start a hanging routine and reach my length goals before going for girth, but I want to be ready.

Thanks for the advice, and thank you everyone who commented. It appears staying aroused in the clamp is ideal. I will try to measure in the clamp next time to see the expansion (when I start back up clamping again). Thanks.
