Clampers: Do any of you use a hose clamp, rather than a cable clamp

I’m thinking I get a better expansion with a round type of clamp, than a cable clamp. My only tests so far have been my hand, which I keep at a circle. I can’t seem to keep an erection very well with a cable clamp, although the hand, has worked well.

Wondering your thoughts on a hose clamp, which is keyed(little handle, to tighten loosen), and a nice wrap to go with it, maybe an ace bandage strip..

My new regimen is to clamp, and pump. I’ve given up on length for now.

I prefer the cable clamp. The hose clamp takes too long just to set up properly on my dick much less to tighten it. If anything goes wrong and you need to get the clamp off in a hurry you are pretty much fucked with the hose clamp.

The cable clamp is shaped like the normal penis. Kind of triangluar. So unless you have a perfectly round dick, cable clamps are the better choice.

When I first started clamping I used a hose clamp because it was all I had. I taped it up to prevent the notches and metal from digging into my skin. It probably would have been better to use a wrap. It was very annoying adjusting the screw but it worked very well. You definitely can’t release it as fast as a cable clamp, which I later started using. I feel I got a better fit and workout with the hose clamp for some reason but they are pretty close. Now I mostly clamp with my hands.

I like the hose clamp, despite its drawbacks. But a cable clamp is easier.

The cable clamp pops of in seconds and sometimes that maybe all the time you have before you hurt yourself. If someone would event a hose clamp with a fast release they would really have a great PE device.

I have tried using a reusable zap strap. Worked very well for me.

You can get hose clamps with a butterfly screw instead of a nut. Big problem with hose clamps is that they can jam. Replace them regularly and always keep a pair of plyers handy just in case.

If you rub the point of a pencil on the teeth to get some graphite on them it helps.
